Bluewater older mums?

New to mn, not exactly new to motherhood - ds1 is 13, ds2 is 11 and dd is 9m.
Are there any older mums living in Bluewater area who also thought that if 40something Madonna can do it , so can I, only to discover that you forgot to put in place the army of domestic staff first?
If there are, and you can tear yourself away from that attractive pile of ironing, could we meet for coffee and valium?

Well, I'm starting yoga next Monday afternoon - but we're free in the afternoons of Tuesday through Thursday... Whatever works for the majority.

lozinkent · 20/07/2005 17:48

Im easy - happy to wait until late August. Shall we set a date before your hols?

Micku5 · 20/07/2005 17:50

Most of the schools break up for summer holidays this week so I think we should be ok for next Monday. I'm a few minutes away from them so i can pop in tomorrow and double check if they will be open.

Micku5 · 21/07/2005 15:15

Update.... Went to Whale of a Time and they will be open on Monday but reduced opening hours from 10-4pm.

lozinkent · 21/07/2005 15:31

Oh no! I've made other plans for Monday now assuming we weren't getting together! Will wait for the meet in late August then!

jenweber630 · 22/07/2005 16:49

So, I'm confused now - is there a meet-up at all on Monday??

Noidea · 25/07/2005 10:43

Hi Guys,
Sorry about the confusion - you'd think I'd know when the school holidays are with 2 of mine at school.....
How does a meet up in early Sept sound? Tues 6th to Friday 9th??

Should be ok - I'll try to make it work around ds's groups etc.

lozinkent · 01/08/2005 11:31

Either day is good for me!

jenweber630 · 07/08/2005 22:45

On second thought - that won't work as my parents will be in town and we will be doing lots of sightseeing - I hope you all have fun!!

lozinkent · 16/08/2005 06:58

Bumping this up for those who have just got back from hols!

Noidea · 16/08/2005 11:24

Hi All,
Back after a lovely holiday! How was yours, Micku5?
Anyone up for a meet then? First week of Sept still? Can make Wed, Thurs or Friday at the moment. Anyone else?

Holiday was a bit of a nightmare... had to leave three days early due to the smog that was covering Malaysia!!

Anyway, first week of sept sound good to me.. Thursday not good though cause dd is at nursery. Hope your holiday went well.

lozinkent · 22/08/2005 06:44

So sorry to hear about your hols Micku5.
The groups we go to start that week so I can only do the Friday if that is OK still?

Noidea · 22/08/2005 08:41

Sorry about your holiday too, Micku5.

Shall we say the Friday then? How does 1.30 at Whale of a Time sound?

OP posts:
Micku5 · 22/08/2005 08:58

thanks...... at least the wedding went well and wasnt affected too much by the smog.

1.30 sounds ok... see you all there. Who else is coming?

lozinkent · 22/08/2005 09:10

I am - will be there at 2pm if that's OK?

Noidea · 22/08/2005 10:47

Shall we all meet at 2pm then?

Hi All,
Thought it might be a good idea to start a new thread without 'older' in it as I thought this might put some people off and it's only me who's older anyway!
I'll call it 'NW Kent/Bluewater area meet up' and we can carry on from there.

hi I just saw that thread. 2pm is fine. I can bring along someone if she wants to come?
