Bluewater older mums?

New to mn, not exactly new to motherhood - ds1 is 13, ds2 is 11 and dd is 9m.
Are there any older mums living in Bluewater area who also thought that if 40something Madonna can do it , so can I, only to discover that you forgot to put in place the army of domestic staff first?
If there are, and you can tear yourself away from that attractive pile of ironing, could we meet for coffee and valium?

When does maternity leave start, beachyhead? Are you going back to work again afterwards?

off from July - Feb, then back to 3 days a week (which is what I do now). So Sept onwards when the two big ones are back at school, Blue water and I will be good friends........

Hi all, first posted here a month ago and still haven't managed a get-together.
Dd is still a bit young to take to Mother & Toddler groups to meet new people and really fancy an outing with some new company. So is there anyone who simply fancies a quick coffee next week, any day but Friday?

Hi - I'm an older mum (this year, dare I say it, 40!!!) and have DD of 13 months. Met some friends from another website in Bluewater a couple of months ago, we got on great and keep in touch, but they were all about 23 so I felt very old, although they were surprised I was as old as I am.

When you have another meet up, I'd like to come along, if you don't mind.
I'm about 45 mins drive away, but work Tuesday to Thursday.

The valium sounds good too Noidea!

Hi Firewalker, nice to have you on board. Could I suggest either Monday 6th June or Friday 10th for a meet-up?

LGJ - less of the cheek!

Hope you have a lovely time and hopefully I can make the next one.

unfortunately, dh will be in london on june 6th and won't be able to drop me off at bluewater so i'm gonna have to cancel.. (train ride there is 1+ hours with 2 changes, dont really fancy that with a baby and pushchair!) =(

KBear · 01/06/2005 19:37

lunarx - where do you live?

juicychops · 01/06/2005 19:41

Hi guys. Im 20... am i too young to come??

lunarx · 01/06/2005 19:59

wrotham (which is near borough green) if that helps!

Noidea · 04/06/2005 11:36

Hi all, are we still on then?
Sorry you can't make it lunarx. Is there anywhere in Wrotham that we could meet up for a coffee so you don't have to worry about transport?
Juicychops, of course you're welcome to join us! No one seems to be quite as old as me so I think we should forget the 'older mums' bit!
Can everyone confirm who is coming so that we know who to wait for?

OP posts:
KBear · 05/06/2005 13:57

I don't know if I will be able to make it now because I worked out DH's shift wrong and he'll have the car. Will try to borrow my mum's and will post later to confirm!

Anyone else going?

lunarx · 05/06/2005 22:05

unfortunately no place in wrotham to meet for coffee unless its a pub! will make next meet up for definite though!!

will be making a trip to bluewater sometime in june from about 9am-noon, will post and say when in case anyone can come along and meet me too=)

hope it all goes well xx
