Are there any mums near Exeter who would like to meet up for a natter and a cuppa?

Blimey Bel, not surprised you're a bit shaken! Definitely eat the bunny.

Meet in a couple of weeks suits me.

Dragonbutter, maybe if the nappy trialers all park in the same car park you could offload beforehand if we're going for a night time get together?

sounds good to me, though i will probably avoid driving

pavlovthepregnantcat · 02/04/2009 21:18

Well, seeing as I can't drink, I could nominate myself as driver for the Plymouth area lot, for petrol contribution and a couple glasses of coke/whatever mad craving I might be having...plus a £100 valet charge if you upchuck after too much wine!

I can fit 4 in my car comfortably, plus me.

have drunk half the second bottle of wine (am so gonna regret that tomorrow) and eaten the bunny ears

nighty night

Fennel · 03/04/2009 09:40

I could do evening of 19th but not the other evenings or days of that weekend, we're away. And I can't get hopelessly drunk as it's dd3's birthday party the next day.

Bel, it's horrible isn't it, losing them? I lost a child (again) this week too. After dd1's party I was walking 6 children home, one with SN who needs close attention, and managed to arrive home with only 5, dd3 (4) had disappeared. Luckily she's quite a sensible 4yo and knows the local area, but we were all rushing around like mad for a while before she turned up (sensibly she'd gone round to my sister's house). I hate it, I seem to misplace my children more than most people do but it's such a horrible feeling.

right ladies.
just got a telling off reminder from mumsnet about the lidl nappies trial.

also these are the sizes. not 1-5 etc.

Midi 4-9 kg
Maxi 7-18kg
Junior 11-25kg

can you tell me who's still interested. I need to email them tomorrow with my list.

thanks.

diedandgonetodevon · 07/04/2009 11:10

We're still interested. We'd need a Midi please.

ok, well i've emailed lidl and asked them for a few of each size as it seemed the easiest way.
now we have to arrange a meetup soon because the nappies are to be reviewed by the 20th april.

so who's up for a cuppa this weekend?

littlelamb · 07/04/2009 19:49

A cuppa?? But it's easter, innit. There has to be chocolate involved somewhere...

diedandgonetodevon · 07/04/2009 20:19

ooh tea & chocolate my two vices!

Would be able to make Saturday morning-ish but the rest of the weekend is a no-go for me as we're off to MIL's

OP posts:
nevergoogledragonbutter · 07/04/2009 20:56

i wouldn't be able to get to exeter until 11ish.
too late?

let's wait and see how long lidl take to send me the details of getting the nappies.

or what about a meetup at haldon forest next wednesday. i think i have the day off.

Fennel · 07/04/2009 21:01

Or Haldon forest this Saturday am? 2 of my dds have a party near there so I will have to hang around that area.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 07/04/2009 21:02

i can be there about 11am?

diedandgonetodevon · 07/04/2009 21:04

Could do Exeter at 11 or Haldon either Sat am or Wednesday.. I'm pretty easy me

OP posts:
Fennel · 07/04/2009 21:06

I'd be there at 11.40 or so, with dd3 who's 4.
Though we might have to check the weather forecast.

bluebump · 07/04/2009 21:07

My mum had the crepe van up at Haldon Forest until a couple of weeks ago!

nevergoogledragonbutter · 07/04/2009 21:08

ooh connections.
why didn't you tell us before now.
that could have been useful.

bluebump · 07/04/2009 21:10

I should have, they were yummy and we could have bypassed any queue!

PhoenixFirefly · 07/04/2009 23:28

theres no way i can get saturday off, though i might possibly be able to do wednesday

Fennel · 08/04/2009 08:33

I can't do Wed, sorry.
