Are there any mums near Exeter who would like to meet up for a natter and a cuppa?

LL sounds like a plan. I wanted to do it on the way home today but realised I'd left your number at my house.
I'll call dh when we're thinking of leaving and arrange for him to meet us. Will you be driving? We could give you a lift home otherwise.

I'm stressing over the state of me my hair. It's a mess, I had it all cut to one length at new years eve as growing to donate to a children's cancer charity, all very worthy, but no help when meeting people.

Oh and I have nothing to wear. Seriously. dd1 will want to wear something pretty and pink, esp if it's a disney princess dress.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 28/03/2009 20:46

Right is this the place?

And which is the best car park coming from the A38 /M5??

diedandgonetodevon · 28/03/2009 20:52

Doris MaryArches is probably the closest.

Piximon I won't be driving and will have dd and ds but I could leave say 20 minutes before you do and meet you there? I would bring it with me but it's a big old thing! Actually, I could see if my friend could drop it off at the phoenix for us? I'll have a word. It seems like there will be quite a few 4 year old girls to keep dd amused

diedandgonetodevon · 28/03/2009 20:53

Sorry, forgot to add that yes, you have the right place!

littlelamb · 28/03/2009 20:54

Oh and Pixi, I donated my hair about 4 years ago. I was bald. So don't worry about your hair
And my dd wore her princess dress to nursery every day for a year

ben5 · 28/03/2009 20:56

i liv ein plymoth can i caome?

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 28/03/2009 20:56

Thank you ladies, right now need to get to bed early for my beauty sleep (ha ha ha ha ha too late for that!!)

pavlovthepregnantcat · 28/03/2009 21:50

Hey ben5 - yes the more the merrier! But not if you have a 'keep on trucking hat', or if your name is Dave

I am wearing casual tomorrow. I had considered doing glammed up, but then thought actually I would be more comfortable and at ease chasing dd around the place talking to new people if I was in my comfy clothes. I will shave my armpits though.... DD will wear a pretty dress. she does have boden, but I wont embarrass her by putting her in it!

Are we meeting at 1pm or 1:30pm? (Just to confirm).

I am looking forward to meeting you all, please forgive me in advance if I do not remember either your MN or your real names

bluebump · 28/03/2009 21:51

Of course ben5, the more the merrier!

PhoenixFirefly · 28/03/2009 21:57

i think the table is booked for 1.30 pavlov, but i could be wrong. and before i make an idiot of myself tomorrow, is your name anything to do with eddie izzard?

diedandgonetodevon · 28/03/2009 22:01

'tis indeed booked for 1.30

Really looking forward to it!

OP posts:
pavlovthepregnantcat · 28/03/2009 22:08

phoenix - nought to do with eddie izzard its a long and boring story, where my name evolved from!

PhoenixFirefly · 28/03/2009 23:33

damn it, so it would make no sense to you if i said 'days 6, cat rang bell, i ate food'

dragonbutter · 29/03/2009 10:01

eek!

PhoenixFirefly · 29/03/2009 10:02

dragonbutter · 29/03/2009 10:07

PhoenixFirefly · 29/03/2009 10:21

lol dont worry, i'd much prefer the dance

littlelamb · 29/03/2009 10:49

Wow the weather is gorgeous. What do you think the chances are that it will rain if I dare to venture out in a skirt?

tattifer · 29/03/2009 10:58

Morning ladies, I'm afraid I'm going to have to apologise and not join you at the pheonix. Morning Sickness is getting the better of me so I'm moping around the house gagging. Sorry.

Have a lovely lunch

diedandgonetodevon · 29/03/2009 11:43

oh tattifer, that's miserable for you!

Dragonbutter, I shall look forward to the dance

Right, better get my arse in gear and get a move on or I'll be late.
See you all later!
