Hi all.

£20

MNetters booked for:

For Katzguk:

Your 45 minute bump massage has been book for 3pm. The rest of the time you are able to enjoy the facilities of the relaxattion room. Your treatment was £40. Cheque

I have secured all treatments/Spa on my credit card for now. But they would like us to pay before hand if possible. Cheque is fine.

  • You can make a cheque payable to Spa 1877
  • Please e-mail me on claireandrich(at)beeb(dot)net for my postal address.
  • If you can try and get them to me asap, I will take them over
  • I will also need your full name at that time for the Spa - can't really book in MN names!!!

On arrival at the Spa, if not been before, you will need to fill out a short medical/health form. Just tick no to everything - Joking!!!

What a great meet-up. Good to meet people and put faces to names.
Feel cleansed on the outside due to all that steaming, but cocktail and wine has given me a hangover from hell. Am currently nursing a glass of water and 2 paracetamol.
Need a detox meet-up now.

Hulababy · 24/04/2005 09:23

HI all

about missing the meal Yorkiegirl - maybe next time?

LOL (sorry) at headache gingerbear - all that hard work at the Spa detroyed like that!!!

I had a lovely time. DD was still awake when we got in but perfectly happy playing with Katzguk's DD. And DD didn't wake up this morning until just after 9am! Yeah

DD has also given me permission to go out again "so that she can play all day" with her friend

It was great meeting new faces, and some I had met before again.

I Love the Spa - that hot chcolate is so nice!

Let's do something again soon.

I had to great time, wish I had been able to plan it better so that I could eat out too!
And so that I did not have (!) to neck 2 pints so damn quickly.
I am definitely heading back to the spa, not so sure I feel any purer but it's worth another crack surely!
Sheffield is a great place for a meet up
I'll be over next time like a shot
With better babysitting plans!!

Yes, great to meet you all But too short. 6 hours in the spa next time!

I still didn't get all the names sorted out though! Who left the meal early and I didn't get to say goodbye? I can remember your RL name, but not your name on here! (I was engrossed chatting about churches I think when you slipped out.)

We had a great time with Wedgiesmum at Hardwick Hall this morning too.

I don't know when I'll be able to come to Yorkshire again, but will keep an eye on the boards. It would be great to meet everyone's children too one day: big meet-up in a park or something?

Hulababy · 24/04/2005 19:22

A nice family day out sounds good roisin - picnic in the park maybe? Lots of games for the children, blankets to lay around on, yummy food and maybe a small bottle of wine or two.

OP posts:
gingerbear · 24/04/2005 19:24

Rosin, I reckon a Lakeland meetup in early summer would be just dandy!
(was is Clary or me who you missed at the meal??)

gingerbear · 24/04/2005 19:25

Not the store in Windermere....but then again....

Hulababy · 24/04/2005 19:26

HOW'S THE HANGOVER GINGERBEAR!!!

(Sorry to shout there )

OP posts:
gingerbear · 24/04/2005 19:30

am fine now - have had comfort food (Sunday lunch at mum's) and an afternoon in the park with SIL and niece so have recovered.
Note to self - lay off the vodka....
Oh, DD really wanted to catch the tram today and see your DD - she was jealous that I had been on a tram AND a train yesterday.

Hulababy · 24/04/2005 19:39

Oh bless her; you will have to bring her over on the train one day soon! DD would love for her to come and see her.

OP posts:
roisin · 24/04/2005 20:06

Hmmm... your description of family day in the park sounds very peaceful Hula! You might want to check in with WM for an honest description of my boys before committing to such a venture! My ds1 and her dog were both completely loopy this morning ... but we had loads of space, so it was OK, I think.

Hulababy · 24/04/2005 20:08

LOL roisin! You haven't seen how much DH loves the chance to play cricket or have a kick around!

OP posts:
roisin · 24/04/2005 20:10

Gingerbear - it was Clary I was thinking of. I think I said goodbye to you ... did I
I did notice you going, but I didn't realise Clary was going til she'd gone!

I haven't confessed to the boys that I went on a tram and trains. Having said that daddy took them to a castle, and to a little cave where they collected lots of rocks. Apparently this was very exciting!

WedgiesMum · 24/04/2005 20:10

He'll enjoy going bonkers with the dog then.....

summer picnic would be good, or Lakes meet.....
