Hi all.

As promised I have booked the Spa for us all this morning.

I booked the Spa Experience for:
Saturday 23rd April
2.30pm - for up to 3 hours
£20

MNetters booked for:
Secur
Hula
Roisin
Wedgiesmum
Gingerbear
Madamebutterfly
MB's friend
Chocfreeclary
purpleturtle
Yorkiegirl
Piffle

For Katzguk:

Your 45 minute bump massage has been book for 3pm. The rest of the time you are able to enjoy the facilities of the relaxattion room. Your treatment was £40. Cheque

I have secured all treatments/Spa on my credit card for now. But they would like us to pay before hand if possible. Cheque is fine.

  • You can make a cheque payable to Spa 1877
  • Please e-mail me on claireandrich(at)beeb(dot)net for my postal address.
  • If you can try and get them to me asap, I will take them over
  • I will also need your full name at that time for the Spa - can't really book in MN names!!!

On arrival at the Spa, if not been before, you will need to fill out a short medical/health form. Just tick no to everything - Joking!!!

Good luck with the move

roisin · 08/04/2005 18:44

I'm all set and raring to go! Dh has just gone up to Scotland for 9 days, so I'll be in serious need of some R&R the following weekend.

I'm also looking forward to catching up with Wedgiesmum:
She came up this week for 4 days ... the 4 days that we were in London

WedgiesMum · 08/04/2005 21:29

My DS was NOT impressed that you weren't there either!!!! He kept looking round when we were at the Dock Museum and the beach expecting to see you!Kept asking for your DS's

I am looking forward to it too could do with some child free time.

Hulababy · 08/04/2005 21:32

Hi WM; not seen you online for ages. You okay? How are those two lovely children of yours? Did we tire them out enough last weekend - I thought your DS was going to get stuck going through one of those little tunnels!

roisin · 09/04/2005 21:48

This is two weeks' today

Can we start talking about food?!

I would prefer somewhere not too smoky, not too loud, not filled with trendy young students!
I like: Chinese, Italian, Thai, Indian, ... anything really! Can someone local suggest some options?

I guess we want somewhere that can cope with us fairly early? At least for drinking?! I'm presuming some of us at least will want to go straight on from the Spa to wherever?

roisin · 10/04/2005 15:55

bump

Hulababy · 10/04/2005 18:31

TBH within walking distance there is almost anything you want food wise.

Under the apartment complex opposite the Spa there is an Italian, Revolution bar (not sure it does food in evenings, but does do 2 for 1 cocktails , south american, and a noodles bar. In same area there are smaller italians, curry houses (including a new all you can eat one - not tried it, looks nice and swish though), tapas, a new Chinese, lebonese (???), mexican, pizza,....

As it will be still quite early I doubt that we will need to book anyway.

What does everyone like?

2 for 1 cocktails sounds like a great place to start the evening off

Hulababy · 10/04/2005 18:51

Oh gosh, forgot entirely YG - this house move stuff is wiping my brain of everythig else. Don't worry though, as you can fill one in on the day when you arrive. I will try and remember this week if I can though. Sorry!

OK, what I will do is write up a list of instructions for people on how to get into centre and where to park. Can you give me a day or so though.

I wil try and think of the directions everyone will come from - I am guessing you'll come down the A61.
