lardybump · 01/10/2008 16:35

Oh bugger I have a midwife appointment tomorrow afternoon so wont be able to make this after all..........

stroppyknickers · 01/10/2008 17:08

Ok, Friday at 1.30pm Polar Adventure then? How exciting!

lardybump · 01/10/2008 17:45

There were a few people that couldn't do fridays. Dont change the day because of me, I wouldnt want someone else to miss out. I will join you next time...

Wisknit · 01/10/2008 18:14

I'll have to say 'maybe next time'. Going to antenatal group tomorrow then facilitate BF drop in on fridays so that would be a definite no.

Eddas · 01/10/2008 18:17

I can still make tomorrow, I work fridays so that's out for me.

iblouise, if you're driving then don't go into the entrance that you go into for the swings, carry on round the road(the righthand bend up a slope) then you'll get to 2 mini roundabouts, at the 2nd one turn left into the leisure centre car park(might save you a little walk)

liahgen · 01/10/2008 18:20

hi all.

I'm ME14 and have only just seen this,

in middle of doing tea, but is there a meet up this week cos if so i'd like to join in.

eandh · 01/10/2008 18:23

stroppyknickers · 01/10/2008 19:03

Aaargh! Tell me the plan!

Eddas · 01/10/2008 19:32

Eddas
iblouise
liahgen
stroppy?

It's hard to get everyone available at the same time. dd will love meeting some new faces. I'll be the one shouting 'Georgia'

babo8 · 01/10/2008 19:53

Hi everybody!
Sorry for the late notice but I was quite busy. I would love to come on thursday. See you in the leasure centre.
Babo8

liahgen · 01/10/2008 20:50

i iwll be the one with a very fluffy haired baby, and a wild blonde haired 3 yr old.

ooh, shall we carry newspapers, ?

I'm Lisa in RL.

Eddas · 01/10/2008 20:58

lol, no a red carnation!

yay, lots of people can make it. It's a shame not everyone, maybe next time?

will we meet in Polar rather than at the front desk? if you've not been there before make sure you ask where it is at the front desk when you pay

I'm Nicola, but dh calls me Eddas so I do answer to that too

thequietone · 01/10/2008 21:01

I'm not surprised you're saying HELP. ( I'm Tonbridge born and bred) so know it well.

lblouise · 01/10/2008 22:27

I can't wait to meet all of you, looks like a good turnout! If there isn't a short irish mummy kicking about assume that I have been lost in the Maidstone one way system!!Think I'll have to leave about 11am to navigate (no sense of direction. Going to look for maps now!! See you tomm

HI
I will be at the frontdesk from 1.20-130, if anybody need a help. I have long brown hair and a nearly 3 year old blond boy with an iggle piggle bag. My name is Edit

Eddas · 02/10/2008 07:45

lol at navigating the one way system you get used to it! Mind you I took my driving test in Maidstone and have been driving for over 10 years now so I should be able to do it by now

stroppyknickers · 02/10/2008 07:53

ok, see you all there. i will have a baby and a three year old in dungarees unless he gets yukky at nursery. i have short hair.

hellsbells76 · 02/10/2008 08:24

aaargh only just seen this, hope you all have a lovely time at polar adventure (take earplugs!) Anyone up for a weekend meet? I'm chained to the office Mon-fri

Wisknit · 02/10/2008 09:04

Have fun, I'll see you all next time hopefully.
Hellsbells I'm sure we could sort something for a weekend.

babo8 · 02/10/2008 09:21

Iblouise, if you come from London Road directionthan as soon as you get into the one way system ( as you are coming down the hill towards the roundabout across the river)the road opens up into two lanes you need to filter into the right hand lane. After about 500 metres as you get near to tre traffic light this lane opens up into two lane filter into the left hand lane. (you need to be in the 3rd lane from the left 2nd from the right)Go around the roundabout in this lane until you get to the first set of traffic light and leave the roundabout with the next exit otherwise you will go back where you come from. Keep in the left hand lane. You need to follow this road until you arrive to the second set of traffic lights (not pedestrian crossings).Turn left there and keep to the right lane which is going to turn right. Carry on straight ahead through the roundabout and when you arrive at the Mote Park entrance don't go into the park, just carry on the road (sharp right corner) until you reach two mini roundabouts. At the second one you turn left.

I hope I helped you finding the place.
See you soon

babo8 · 02/10/2008 09:24

Wisknit I hope your bruises as getting better!
I hope to see you soon!

babo8 · 02/10/2008 09:25
