Congrats AnnVann. Lovely news.
It's looking likely that we'l move in the next 4 weeks. (assuming buyer doesn't muck us about)so I'm happy to meet up anytime.
Only times I cannot do are fridays all day and tuesday mornings.
Does anyone want to organise anything?

babo8 · 26/09/2008 08:30

Hi Iblouise!
I think the safest to say to meet up in the Mote Park leasure centre. (in case the weather is rubbish we could go in with the kids to the soft play area)
How about on Monday the 29th 1 o'clock?
If this date or time is not good for you, than let me know.
I hope to meet you soon.
Babo8

Wisknit · 29/09/2008 11:11

babo, was that aimed at all of us?
I'm afraid I haven't been online most of the weekend. At the moment Mote Park leisure centre not too good for me. I was thinking something more central.
Sorry for not getting back to you.

babo8 · 30/09/2008 08:51

Hi, Wisknit
Of course!
I am open for any suggestions!
Just let me know what suits you.
Babo8

Eddas · 30/09/2008 08:57

hiya everyone, not read the whole thread but I posted on it at the begining!

I'm up for meeting up. I have dd(4) and ds(18 months)

Eandh is my rl friend so I can probably persuade her to come along too She has dd1(4) and dd2(21 months)

lblouise · 30/09/2008 10:32

Hi Babo8 sorry I haven't been on all weekend! Just got the message now, would Thursday or Friday suit? Eddas would love to meet up with you,EandH and Wisknit (and anyone else who's free). I'm not too sure where Mote Park Leisure centre is, think I can get to the Park is the leisure centre nearby? If this doesn't suit Wiskit maybe a coffee in town somewhere? Will be back on later to check this time!!

Wisknit · 30/09/2008 10:58

My main reason for wanting something more central is that I have to get a bus tyen Walk Lots. But hopefully we'll be moving sometime mid month (In theory we exchange tomorrow). Might give thursday or friday a miss as fell down the stairs yesterday and am somewhat sore and stiff. I don't think that carrying a 15 month old in a sling and pushing a buggy would do me much good.
I def. can't do Fridays but if you organise something for thursday I'll see how I'm feeling and maybe join you.

Any word from AnnVann recently?

stroppyknickers · 30/09/2008 11:00

hello rgpargy! I'm up for meeting - am in me15 too. where are you planning on moving to iblouise?

AnnVan · 30/09/2008 11:18

Hey all - I'd love to meet up, but don't know where any of these places are. I don't drive either, so have to rely entirely on public transport. If anyone can make a meetup in the Medway towns somewhere I'll be able to do that I'm sure.
Sebastian is two weeks old today!! Taking him in to Rochester to be registered this afternoon.

eandh · 30/09/2008 11:22

Hi

I'd love to meet up but work Monday and Fridays and dd1 (and Eddas dd!) at preschool tues, weds and thurs mornings so could do afternoons on those days??

Wisknit · 30/09/2008 11:29

AnnVann: LLL meeting is on Tuesday 7th October. Should be at 34 Rochester Avenue.
At the very least I should be about for lunch after meeting. Also, Nappucino is monday at New Arts Centre in Chatham, 10.30 - 12. Doing a raffle and stuff this month. If you want to meet up there I usually go.

~Everyone else:

I can't do:
Tuesdays
Fridays
and soon thursday pms.
Of course the thursday I can always make an exception to.

This week is probably a no-no due to stairs incident but nexy week I'm free (or can be)and would like to get into Maidstone sometime soon.

AnnVan · 30/09/2008 11:33

WIsknit - I think I'll try for the LLL meeting next week then. Not sure about nappucino, as have HV coming for first visit next Monday. If a Maidstone meetup is arranged, I'd like to try go, but may need some help with how to get wherever we're going.

Eddas · 30/09/2008 12:13

well i can't do fridays, and everyother morning dd is at preschool. Although half terms not far off, so that might be a good week to meet? then i'll be free everyday except(or is that accept? i never know, lol) friday!

I've been in Maidstone forever so can help to direct people!

iblouise, the leisure centre is in the park, so you'll get there no problem. Do you know where the swings are? if you look to the right, the building there is the leisure centre

wisknit, stairs incident sounds painful, hope you're ok. My only issure of central would be where, as with dd and ds i'd need them to be occupied IYSWIM! There are toddler groups etc about though, I just don't know when and where with dd at preschool i don't take ds I will do once she starts school in Jan, I will at least have more than 2.5 hours before I have to collect her again!

Wisknit · 30/09/2008 14:48

I think probably Park would be best as I was thinking about active children (dss are 2.9 and 15 months) too. Just being lazy really.

AnnVann. Where in Rochester, roughly are you? Strood type direction? Or between city way and maidstone road? Or, and this is more likely, are you in Strood and I'm just being dappy?
If you are in strood the train goes to Maidstone West, then you would walk a little to Mote Park. If in Rochester you could get the 105(?) bus which takes forever or get to Chatham station and get the 101straght into Maidstone. Either way I would be happy to meet you in town and walk the rest of it with you. Walking is always easier with company.

Eddas - I'm okay thank you. A little fore and stiff but fine.

lblouise · 30/09/2008 15:04

Thanks Eddas! Fridays seem to be out for everyone so would Thurs pm suit this week ??(Wisknit sorry to hear that hope you are feeling better for a meet up soon!) Mote Park?
Hi Stroppyknickers we have moved to London Road near town centre, really liking it so far (except one way system am a crap driver and finding it a nightmare) are you free Thurs afternoon?
Babo8 does this suit you as it was your suggestion for meet up this week and we've hijacked it!!

OP posts:
stroppyknickers · 30/09/2008 15:38

yep, thurs can do but will have to shoot for school run. what time and where? am finding thread impossible to keep up with!

eandh · 30/09/2008 17:01

I can't do Thursday this week as DD1 got a medical appt at 1.30 but will deffo catch up another week!

stroppyknickers · 30/09/2008 19:43

Somebody tell me where and when and I will be there!

lardybump · 30/09/2008 20:04

Would I be able to join you as well. I have a 18 month dd and am pg with no 2. I am free most mornings or afternoons!!

Eddas · 30/09/2008 20:10

i can do this thursday. DD finishes preschool at 12, so anytime after that.

Are we meeting at mote park leisure centre, in soft play(Polar adventure)?

Eddas · 30/09/2008 20:12

lardybump, my ds is 18 months. When was your dd born?

oo i'm quite excited, meeting rl mners

lblouise · 30/09/2008 22:12

Eddas that sounds great, everyone welcome, Thursday Mote Park Leisure Centre (can someone confirm that it is within the Mote Park grounds, Eddas did you say to the right of the play park?) Babo8 and Stroppyknickers does this suit you? 1:30 pm ok for everyone?? I can't wait to meet everyone!!

OP posts:
Eddas · 30/09/2008 22:15
