Would love to say mine crashed out but alas they were still out on the trampoline until 20minutes ago at least they are all asleep now!!!

Biglips, ds2 hasn't used the pram for months and months, but I took it out of the cupboard yesterday because I would not be able to carry him home from the park... he was shattered after his last day at nursery yesterday. Today I had to use it otherwise we'd still be walking to Calderstones now!

Browny.....i wish i can use the pram now and again but DD is not having it as she said "im NOT a baby!" (when i mentioned about Chester Zoo 2 weeks ago)

ive just been shopping and was struggling to push a big trolley that kept on pulling to the right!! i was too knackered to go and get another one and get all the shopping out of it so now ive got a stitch on my belly!!

Just popped in to say thank you for congratulations.DD2 is spitting image of DD1 when she was born but much smaller. DD2 is 7lb 6oz.
DD1 has been very whingy today but she says she loves her sister!
Off to bed, wiil catch up soon

Thanks for a nice afternoon guys, it was good to meet you and I'm sure I'll make another meet up. I didn't get back in time for weighing DD, after getting stuck behind a tractor! But curry night was good. I'm off to north Wales for the day to see my gparents.

i have got my fingers and toes crossed that DD sleeps thru as she was flat out by 5pm due to a hectic weekend that she had (she was in a Dance show Fri and Sat night and didnt get home till 9.30pm). I am soooo proud of her

She wanted to know today if she is going to a dance show next weekend but i said none till September

Hello all!
Thank you for the welcome to the 2 DD club Jaamy! I am still shocked that I have 2 girls, I was convinced I was having a boy.

In repopnse to was it quick - started having a few niggles on Wed morning but I thought it was wind! pains disappeared for a couple of hours then returnrd about 1ish. By 4 was having contractions every 6 minutes and DH was still at work over an hour away. By the time DH got home, contactions were every 3 mins. Got to hospital at 5.55 and had DD at 8.27.

Things here are very chaotic, we were not expecting DD2 for another week so we were not ready. We are still having work done on the house so we have had plasterers and tilers in and out of the house all week so the place is a tip. We are expecting decotators tomorrow so hopefully eveything will be finished soon.

DD1 is really having problems adjusting too. We have had a couple of almighty tantrums, the type you see on suppernanny. She has reverted back to wanting to be fed and whining. We are trying to ignore any unwanted behaviour and go overboard with praise for good behaviour. I feel really sorry for her but I know she will be fine, eventually!

Wow what a long post - sorry if I have bored you stiff!

Hope you are all ok and hopefully we can get together soon when I am not stuffing my bra with cabbage leaves and bursting into tears for no apparent reason x

MD - youre doing the right thing with DD1 as its all normal and it will take time for her to accept that she now is not the only child now. ahhh cant wait to meet her and many congrats xxxxx

Pobably going agains thte grain but dont go OTT on praise for good behaviour..we did it with A and it made his behaviour ten times worse. We also tried to give him lots of attention etc and it backfired. Just try to keep everything as normal as poss for dd1..I know its hard especially as the house sounds a bit insane!! Is dd1 still going to childminder or anything at the min?
Hope you feel better soon and dont ya just love those weepy moments especially when they grab you when you least expect it..

Thanks for advice nemo, I just don't know what to do for the best. DD1 is still going to the childminder, she has been today and is going tomorrow but bloody inconsiderate childminder is going on holiday so DD1 won't be going again for another couple of weeks!!

We went to the beach for an hour last night and DD had a whale of a time in the water as the tide was in . Lots of people were there and the weather was perfect for me

well when you feel up to getting out and about md let me know and you are always welcome here..even if you want to snooze on the couch ..or you can drop dd1 here to play with the trio and go and get some sleep.

Well nemo, took your advice and for the last couple of days we have been carrying on as normal and, it maybe a coincidence, but M has been much better.

DD2 is feeding now every 3 - 4 hours so we are not doing too bad for sleep, especially as DH is doing half of all feeds and letting me have a lie in. I am already dreading him going back to work! When he goes back to work I will banging on your door nemo for the use of your couch!

We will have to try to have a meet up over the next few weeks before everybody is back at school. I can host here when work is finished but at this rate it will be summer 2009. The plasterer and painter have gone AWOL and they were supposed to be here finishing last bits tonight. At least I haven't paid them yet.
