Sadly no as I shall be off having coffee and cake in Amsterdam.

I will try and make future meetups. That week is my first back after my days off but I'll have days off during the week fairly soon after that.

gscrym - enjoy Amsterdam! Just make sure you go to the right sort of coffee shop and watch out for the chocolate brownies - there's more to them than meets the eye

Can't have chocolate anything as I'm allergic to caffeine. Oh well, I'll just have to stare at diamonds.

i just was a bit in awe cos you are all a dab hand at being mum's where i'm a new one. its not that i didnt like you or the day. i thought it was fab. i just didnt know what to say to people cos i dont really do anything bar be a mum - most of my friends have moved on since i stopped going to uni/going out. even that girl Jo only sees me when i pack emily up and haul everything up from east kilbride (just south of glasgow) to stirling to see her. Im great when i get out of my shell. but my confidence has taken a knock and im shy as it is. so im sorry if i sounded like i hated it - i didnt. i just found it difficult getting back out there. you all really did sound confident and able. i was a wee bit lost so didnt talk enough to make it worthwhile for myself. so sorry.

At least your little one behaved like an absolute sweety. Mine on the other hand was like a Tazmanian devil. I've been at this mum game for two and a bit years and feel totally in awe of all the opther ones who have taken so well to it and I can just about mange the basics.

11th March is good for me too. Heard babies heartbeat for the first time the other day - always a treat to hear. The midwife said to me "that's some bump". Very tactful I thought.

Tassis - thx for the compliments - all the children were lovely and so well behaved. My bump is v. big - even the midwife commented last week .
