Anyone fancy this, McMudda, are you about?

OP posts:
miam · 11/01/2005 10:36

You will just have to wait and see......

Nat71 · 11/01/2005 15:50

Tues 18th is fine for me too. I won't get there until at least 2.15 as don't finish work until 2 on Tuesdays. I can hopefully be recognised by my bump . gscrym - can u make this too?

mcmudda · 11/01/2005 17:16

I can do Tuesday too and 1:30\2pm sounds a good time and I'm really weird.

Where is the MacRobert centre - anyone got a street name? I don't know Stirling at all.

mcmudda · 11/01/2005 17:20

Doh! just realised MacBob centre is at the university - that must be on a map somewhere!?

Nat71 - how bumpy are you? I'm assuming you mean preggy bumpy? I'm 19 weeks, so a little bit bumpy

tassis · 11/01/2005 21:51

Can I join you? I'll be late because ds (21 months) usually sleeps until after 3pm. I'll wake him early and should be there about 2.30pm. Look forward to it.

ja9 · 11/01/2005 22:35

good on you tassis - knew you couldn't resist!

gscrym · 12/01/2005 07:29

I can make this. Where ib the McBob are we goiing to meet.

OP posts:
ja9 · 12/01/2005 11:21

Great!!

When you go into McBob, go straight down to theback where the hatch to thekitchen place is. There are lots of tables there, including little chairs and tables for little uns - also lots of space for prams etc.

Shall we say 2:15pm ish since there are a couple of folks who can't make it until slightly later?

How shall we know eachother? Some of you have met b4, isn't that right?

Oh this is so exciting!!!

miam · 12/01/2005 11:53

You will know me - I'll have the 4 girls with me. It is a little nerve-wracking!!

gscrym · 12/01/2005 12:20

Looking forward to it.

OP posts:
ja9 · 12/01/2005 13:41

i'll have a buggy with a 4mth old boy in it.

see u then!

Nat71 · 12/01/2005 18:01

Hello everyone, see you on Tuesday - will be a little bit nervous as don't know anyone. McMudda - I'm 19 weeks bumpy too although I look like I'm more. A lot of people have said you can look bigger with the second or perhaps it was the Xmas choccies

mcmudda · 13/01/2005 09:59

I've only met gscrym once before Xmas. I was easy to spot cos of my hideous orange stripey hat. I'm not sure whether that hat will ever see the light of day again

If not, then I'm wee with med length dark hair, 19 wks preg and will have a blonde 2 year old ds in a buggy (Nat71 - my mum says my bump is all chocolate and no baby!). I'll be wearing whatever I can squeeze into by next week!

Looking forward to it!

tassis · 15/01/2005 10:17

So here's the roll call:
gscrym
Nat71
miam
Gomez
ja9
mcmudda
tassis

Have I missed anyone?
I'm looking forward to it. I know ja9 and as we'll be late I'll just have to find her!

CherryEm · 15/01/2005 21:45

Hi Im Cheryl. Just came across this site. I'm moving to Stirling soon and think it would be fab to meet up with some other mums near by. Was wondering if it'd be ok to tag along? I've become really shy and only really have gooing and ga-ing chats so would love some grown up conversation!lost touch with many so-called mates when sleepless nights and lack of babysitters came about. I have a 6mth wee girl.

ja9 · 15/01/2005 22:34

Hi CherryEm! When are you moving to stirling? Are you free to come on Tuesday? It'd be great to see you and your little girl... I'm really looking forward to the meet-up!

CherryEm · 16/01/2005 21:24

I'm gonna come if thats cool. I lived in Stirling the year before last for uni. but then my little cherub decided to surprise me. moving back in Autumn. Not gonna say much more so i have conversation for the meet-up. See you guys then, thanx

tassis · 17/01/2005 12:52

Flippin typical!! My boy has a temperature, is very clingy and isn't eating. Really hope I'll be able to make it tomorrow...

Prettybird · 17/01/2005 12:58

I'd love to come too, but I work f/t.

Tomorrow I'm on the 6 a.m. flight down to London, only getting back to Glasgow Airpot at 7 p.m. Hope the forecast gales and blizzards don't materialise

mcmudda · 17/01/2005 13:17

Was just about to post about blizzards PB (sorry you can't make this time - we should do an evening meet-up sometime)

If they do turn up thenI might be stuck at the house - we're still a little bit isolated after the floods - but I'll keep you posted. Definitely still planing on coming!

CherryEm · 17/01/2005 14:19

Nat71 · 18/01/2005 10:53

Hi guys, wont be able to make it today dont like driving in this weather!!

Hopefully I will be able to meet up with you another time.

Natalie

mcmudda · 18/01/2005 11:09

AAAAGH - snow is bad here too. Although the main roads are probably fine, I've got about 10 miles of country track to negotiate before I get to the main Stirling road and it's just too dodgy today. REally sorry, but I'm backing out too .

CherryEm - I would get your number deleted ASAP by emailing Tech at mumsnet just in case anyone picks up your number that shouldn't have it. You can get in touch with other Mumsnetters more securely by using the "contact another talker" link at the top of the screen. Hope that makes sense

miam · 18/01/2005 11:13

Well, it looks like we are all snowed out today - very heavy snow here and the sky is full of it. Shall we rearrange the meetup for when it is less arctic-like?? We are all off sledging now hee hee!!
