Thanks guys. It's much more fun not knowing but I couldn't help opening my mouth . Haven't got a clues about names yet - keep changing my mind. See you next week - look forward to it.

kalex · 19/01/2005 18:40

Now it's at Wednesday, can I come too!!! Please please.

I live in perth and DS has a hospital appointment at 12.20 but will be there as close to time as possible!

kalex · 19/01/2005 18:42

DP wanted to come too until I pointed out that there were so many children, his words were " you go Sweetie, have a nice time!" Normally Wednesday is our kid free time together!!!

CherryEm · 19/01/2005 22:02

I'm such a div. I was wondering why so many people had decided to call there daughters DD! Just looked at acronym list. I didnt know the etiquette! Its not dangerous of me to have named my daughter is it?

CherryEm · 19/01/2005 22:05

I dont know if maybe 2pm's better? some peeps are sayin they may be a little late. The MacBob's not gonna know wots hit it! i'll check on again before i leave.

ja9 · 20/01/2005 13:05

After 2pm would suit me better too. Shall we say 2:15pm? This should be better for Nat71, kalex, tassis and myself. How about the rest of you?

miam · 20/01/2005 15:30

2.15 is fine for me.

gscrym · 21/01/2005 22:19

I'll be there with small boy. See you at 2.15

Mcmudda ! Off with a new meet-up group so soon? Well you certainly didn't hang about did you. I can't believe we meant so little too you ? Sob

Have a lovely meet-up honey. The Watford posse are meeting on Thursday night and will raise a cup of tea in your honour

Toothache · 22/01/2005 11:15

I'll come too!!

Could this be a Central Scottish Meet-up that I'm finally going to be at???!?!

Are we meeting in the downstairs cafe that has all the windows looking out onto the loch? My pal works in there.... might get some cheap food.

Nat71 · 24/01/2005 14:52

I have no idea whereabouts in the MacRob we are meeting as haven't been there before. I was just going to look for lots of kids/mums or are there likely to be lots that aren't part of this group?? I'll probably end up sitting with a group of people who are wondering who the strange woman is

kalex · 25/01/2005 17:34

Where is the Macrob. I know the Thistles, wallace monumnet and the Toyota garage, will come in from the Perth end.

Is the uni signposted?

miam · 25/01/2005 18:05

Kalex if you are coming down the A9 - when you come to the big roundabout, take the Bridge of Allan turn off. Carry straight on that road right through and out of BofA. You will eventually come to a little dual carriageway then a mini-roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and you will be in the Uni grounds. Follow the road straight on, you will have to stop at the barriers where you can ask where to park. The MacBob is easy to find from the parking area.

miam · 25/01/2005 18:08

Oops, meant turn LEFT at the roundabout (otherwise you will end up in a field...). I think we should all gravitate to the back of the cafe - my girls will be on the kiddies tables anyway. You should spot us as my oldest two are 10 and 11 - not many kids of that age around at 2.30!! (HE'd by the way - not truanting...).

ja9 · 25/01/2005 19:43

c u all tomorrow. looking forward to it! there'll be 9 of us i think:

kalex, mcmudda, cherryem, miam, gscrym,Nat71, tassis, toothache and ja9.

Imagine that..in a wee place like stirling!!

anorak · 25/01/2005 19:47

McMudda! I certainly will not be raising a teacup in your honour on Thursday. T'will be a wine glass for sure.

Aaaargh, McMudda you are going to put faces to all these names I have come to know.

not fair
not fair
not fair

I want an invite up to Scottishland

miam · 25/01/2005 21:24

Aaaw anorak - the british travel system is not too bad these days - trains even travel up to Scotland you know!! Go on - catch the 5.00am train tomorrow - you know you want to! xx

anorak · 26/01/2005 09:15

I do want to miam, definitely.

Only the other 4 members of my family are all ill and I have to look after them.

And anyway, I'll miss our meet-up tomorrow night if I do.

But someday...

mcmudda · 26/01/2005 09:16

I knew this would happen -all these sassenachs trying to gatecrash the superior meet up thread - typical

BUT I'm going to have to call off again - I think it's a conspiracy to stop me meeting up with you all. Ds has been up the last 2 nights hacking up his lungs and is moaning around the house as I type rubbing green snot everywhere. Was it too much to ask for one day with a non-snotty boy and a cuppa with cake???? So we're staying at home drowning our sorrows in calpol.

Toothache - is your old email still working? Or was it a work address?

Really hope these meet ups become a regular thingy.

Sorry everyone, see you next time?

mcmudda · 26/01/2005 09:17

Hi Anorak - you still here??!?! Remember there's always space at my lochside retreat

anorak · 26/01/2005 09:21

We sassenachs were good enough for you when you lived down here, McMudda! Hope you haven't turned hoity-toity in your lochside palace

You will be sorry when I turn up on your doorstep with my suitcases

Hope ds is better soon - my lot all have the same thing!

Gomez · 26/01/2005 09:31

If anybody abour - can I gate-crash please. I had forgotten all about this and by a marvellous stroke of luck am off work today....

Please - 2.15pm @ MacRobert, yeah?

gscrym · 26/01/2005 09:40

Of course you can gate crash, the more the merrier!

Sorry to her the little one's poorly McMudda, I'm sure my little one would have been quite happy to part with his sweeties again.

See you all at 2:15

miam · 26/01/2005 09:41

Gomez - it will be lovely to meet you!

Mcmudda - so dissapointed you can't come. Mine all have a touch of the cold and was in two minds whether to come myself, but am going to incubate them in the computer den when we get there! (Will give me peace too...)

CherryEm · 26/01/2005 10:42

hey im still on schedule. if you meet a div with a 7mth old wee girl sayin "Hi is this the meet-up?" its me. or if you hear me sayin it to some other people please come and save me! Im really nervous.
