Washersaurus · 24/04/2008 21:01

I can't decide whether to order duck or haddock and chips (well it is the weekend)

Hmm I DO like duck, but I also like fish and chips......

HonorMatopoeia · 25/04/2008 19:09

bump diddy bump bump, bump bump!

Slouchy · 27/04/2008 16:39

No probs. Littlefish, I'll come via honor to yours, then out to M5. Really not a prob. Dh's fuel!

Thanks for help doing 'Pimp My CV'. Think it is prob to no avail though. Head had a quiet word in the week long the lines of "..and if you don't get it, we can look into doing this, or this.." prepping me for disappointment i fear. Poo.

Littlefish · 27/04/2008 19:50

You are lovely Slouchy - what sort of time???

Just glad I could help with CV - LOL at "pimp". Are you ok about things staying as they are if you aren't successful with the job? How long does the conversion course take? Could you do it at the same time as your current job?

Washersaurus · 27/04/2008 19:54

OK I am making a decision; I will have the duck...no wait, the fish and chips....oh, um...I'll definitely order the duck then

I am quite nervous about meeting you all - you do promise to be nice don't you...

Slouchy · 27/04/2008 20:03

Whaddaya reckon - 20 mins from yours?
So 8.10 ish at yours for 8.30 arrival?

washersaurus - we are very nice, I promise.

Littlefish · 27/04/2008 21:20

Depends whether we get lost! Do you want to make it 8.00pm at mine so we will definitely be there before Washersaurus gets there!

Don't be nervous - most of us are really lovely - I'll fill you in on the horrible ones when I meet you

Slouchy · 27/04/2008 21:32

OK, 8pm it is.

(washersaurus - they're all nice, except for that littlefish one. You want to watch her..)

currantbunmum · 28/04/2008 09:37

Washersaurus, it's my first time meeting up too.

I have been doing my homework and looking at profiles, I feel a bit like a PI, not Magnum though, my moustache is no where near as luxurious as his.

I will have a 40 minute drive to calm myself / work myself into a tizz, not sure which!

HonorMatopoeia · 28/04/2008 15:09

Currantbunmum - you'll know more about the nutters than I do! I'm too busy snorting with laughter whenever we meet up to find out anything

Littlefish · 28/04/2008 15:42
currantbunmum · 28/04/2008 16:46

No, you mustn't worry, I may have read your profiles, but remembering them is a whole different ball game.

Littlefish, is that why slouchy has told us to watch out for you?

BettySpaghetti · 28/04/2008 19:32

aha, I don't have a profile on here so I'll be the mysterious one in the corner that you know nothing about

Littlefish -try using a little Nair or Immac on those knuckles, theres a dear, otherwise you'll scare our new recruits away

HonorMatopoeia · 28/04/2008 21:45

Littlefish - waxing is always best in my humble opinion!
CBMum - I'm the one who will look nothing like the image my profile suggests. Look for the haggard looking woman / freak hybrid who is exceptionally excited at having a night out and keeps rubbing imaginary baby sick off her shoulder

TillyScoutsmum · 29/04/2008 13:31

Really really sorry but I'd forgotten all about this and can't make it Its dd's first birthday and we've got the in laws staying over for a bit of a party on the Saturday

I hate people who cancel at the last minute and I was really looking forward to a night out and meeting you all

Have a great time and please let me know when there's another one

Furball · 29/04/2008 13:39

no worrys tillyscoutsmum - try and make the next one

OP posts:
mistressmiggins · 29/04/2008 21:50

hello!

have spoken to DP and he is happy to look after my children so I will be coming.
Actually 8.30 will suit me cos wont have to leave him in the lurch putting kiddies to bed.

I will have the goats cheese etc

soooo looking forward to seeing you all again seeing as I have missed last 3 !!!

Furball · 30/04/2008 06:52

woooohooo!

OP posts:
Slouchy · 30/04/2008 16:18

Is there anyone else from the kiddy neck of the woods who needs a lift? (Apart from Littlefishytrucker and Honor?)
let me know

Itsthawooluff · 01/05/2008 12:20

Washersaurus - as we've moved to 8.30 shall we rendezvous at 8.20?

(Twirls moustache and sweeps opera cloak round shoulders per Edwardian villain mode - fiendishly)

currantbunmum · 01/05/2008 18:52

So, this meet up I'm coming along to..................where is it again?

I've got a feeling it's the Swan, but I need a vague address so I can google it and find directions.

I'm not usually this dim.
