Itsthawooluff -of course you should post a sponsorship link here. I will be one of the first to sponsor you.

Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and lovely words

Littlefish · 18/03/2008 18:33

Yes please post it here woolfy. I'd be really happy to sponsor you. Breast cancer is the ghost that haunts my family

Itsthawooluff · 19/03/2008 10:00

Thank you Betty

Please feel free to sponsor me using my link

Crosses fingers because generally pants at links.

Itsthawooluff · 19/03/2008 10:04

Woo hoo - it worked!

Also, my firm will match any fundraising I do, so should be able to double up what I can raise. [Shameless plug]

BettySpaghetti · 19/03/2008 10:55

I've added my sponsorship.

Thats fantastic that your firm will match the total amount. Good luck

Furball · 19/03/2008 14:33

see you've already beaten your target!

I'll get dh to do it so they can claim the tax as I don't earn enough to have to pay it!

OP posts:
Itsthawooluff · 20/03/2008 09:25

Thanks Furby.

I've upped the target to £150, and have a paper copy form circulating for the Luddites which I will bring to the meetup. [I really have no shame]

HonorMatopoeia · 23/03/2008 13:18

Hi ladies, just met a lovely lady by the name of Tillyscoutmum (really hope I got that right!) on another thread. She's from Worcs and I said I'd nip over here and introduce her to you. Also mentioned this meet up and that we're a friendly bunch who would love to have her along!
Hope all are well and enjoying Easter (we're in the middle of a formula crisis as have run out of aptamil and can't find any around...arggghh!!)

Littlefish · 23/03/2008 16:53

Honor - if you get really stuck, phone me and I'll ask a couple of friends.

TillyScoutsmum · 23/03/2008 18:17

Thanks very much for the intro Honor

Hello everyone else . Hope everyone is having a good Easter. Have just survived lunch at my mums so am having a large glass of red to celebrate

BettySpaghetti · 23/03/2008 19:08

Hello and welcome

My glass of red wine is waiting until I put the DC to bed (how restrained am I ?! not normally though)

Unfortunately they've just discovered Ice Age is on TV so it will need a few unsubtle hints to get them moving.

HonorMatopoeia · 23/03/2008 20:31

Hmmmmmm, red wine!
Littlefish, if the shops are out tomorrow then I may well be ringing!
Tillyscoutsmum - sorry, forgot the s !

TillyScoutsmum · 23/03/2008 21:04

No problem - if I was a pedant, I would put an apostrophe in there I suppose !

Sainsbury in Kiddy had loads on the shelves yesterday late pm so hopefully they'll still be stocked up tomorrow. If not, I've got the hungry stuff and the follow on. Can't believe you used to be in Cookley... small world

Hi Betty - hope you've managed to drag dc's from Ice Age and hit the red wine

So is there a date sorted for the meet up then ? Is it usually day time with dc's or evening without ?

HonorMatopoeia · 23/03/2008 21:11

Yes, very small world, even now we're only just outside of Kidderminster!
Meet-ups are usually in the evening and a right larf is had by all Usually at The Swan in Worcester but we share lifts where possible from this end so as few people as possible have to drive. There's quite a few of us from around Kidderminster.

TillyScoutsmum · 23/03/2008 21:59

Brilliant... Look forward to it. My social life post dd isn't what it used to be

Furball · 24/03/2008 07:41

ssing as some can only come on the 4th and some on the 11th - how about

the 18th?

OP posts:
Littlefish · 24/03/2008 09:43

I definitely can't do 18th. We're off to a scary wedding full of scary London types.

HonorMatopoeia · 24/03/2008 11:08

I can do the 18th, but then again, can do most dates apart from 4th and 11th!

Littlefish you are not coming 40, no way! My girl, you do not look it at all. I am truly shocked!

Furball · 24/03/2008 11:49

Littlefish - I've said to you before I can't believe you are that old - you look only like a little fishlet! or is it fishling

right what about the 25th

OP posts:
HonorMatopoeia · 24/03/2008 12:00

Now, I feel that maybe I ought to create a fantastic party or premiere or something, so it at least looks like I have a life....but....nope...I'm free

Littlefish · 24/03/2008 18:25

Sorry, can't do 25th either. I'm away at a conference.

Thanks for the compliment Furball .

cmotdibbler · 26/03/2008 08:58

Hello I'm in south Worcs. Moved to the area in September.
Would love to meet up, but work ft, and April/May are a bit mad for me.

Furball · 26/03/2008 09:15

glad you mad it over here cmotdibbler

we go in the evening, childfree and have great food and even greater laughs!

OP posts:
cmotdibbler · 26/03/2008 09:59

Evenings are great for me, but in April I can only do the 11th as I'm away the next two Friday evenings after that.
