Just a little idea, I would be up for it (obviously).... anyone else?

I'll look at a map and try and work out a convenient location for us all, obviously any ideas would be welcome. For ease it may be good if anyone is willing to put another MNer up for the night they could mention it in their post

jamiesam · 13/12/2004 13:04

Just been checking the Sheffield Spa.
Prices go up to £20 for 3 hours in new year (still a bargain I reckon), and capacity of 35 (so we have a little way to go yet!)

On the other hand, we've yet to plot all our locations on a map and work out our epicentre.

katzguk · 13/12/2004 13:33

thanks for that jamiesam, i am just arranging a mums-to-be meet-up at the spa! they do a nice bump massage

ChrisseyMas · 13/12/2004 14:09

Excellent everyone adding names, now then next question.

When are we thinking of?? Anyone got any dates in mind.

Maybe a month would be a good starting place???

March ?? April ?? May ??

RonnieTinselBaby · 13/12/2004 22:55

If we at least get a month, we can post some dates etc.

Then see how people are fixed and locations etc.

saintlysecur · 13/12/2004 23:01

good point, well made

ok, I am free-Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May...I have no social life apart from you guys

We should make it fairly soon otherwise it will all get forgotten about-and Jan/Feb time is usually really quiet?

GeorginaAdventCalendar · 14/12/2004 08:39

I think us on the May babies thread were talking about a meet up in May ... so I'd prefer not May, but not really that fussy as long as it doesn't end up clashing - it's only my bank manager who'd complain

santaclary · 14/12/2004 08:41

let's make it as soon as possible, i too have no social life (!) so can do most of jan/feb; are we talking about a Friday night? Not a saturday please as I can't do them (football).

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 08:58

I couldn't do a Friday though, no-one to have dd while I'm travelling! It would have to be Saturday for me, I'm afraid.

Hulababy · 14/12/2004 09:00

So long as I have some notice I can do most dates I think. Have one or two things in diary but not much so pretty easy I reckon.

Petesmum · 14/12/2004 12:13

Jan or March would be best for me - DS birthday & family break planned for Feb. I'd also rather it be on a Saturday so I don't have to take time off work but I'll go with the majority vote.

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 12:23

would need to be sat or sun for me too sorry.

ChristmasCracker · 14/12/2004 12:24

Bit of an odd question but what do you actually do whilst at the spa ??????

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 12:26

hopefully absolutly nothing-sounds like heaven to me!

(in truth I don't really know either!)

ChristmasCracker · 14/12/2004 12:28

LOL Secur glad i'm not the only one wondering then
You're right though, absolutly nothing sounds fab.

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 12:29
Grin
Petesmum · 14/12/2004 14:17

I'm hoping that we'll be able to sit down, have a nice cuppa (would it be too unheathly to have a glass of wine ?) a natter & gossip, perhaps a gentle paddle in the pool or massage. Basically anything which doesn't involve computers, nappies or tidying up - bliss

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 14:51

Pools and massage would suggest exposed wobbly bits ... mmmm, bit nervous about that ...

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 15:01

it's ok, I promise to wear a blindfold if everyone else does-that way none of us can see each others wobbly bits

GingerBells · 14/12/2004 15:06

I have a mental picture like the wanadoo advert - the gorillas in the mist one with all those hairy overweight blokes in a sauna.

Note to self.....remember to shave armpits and legs before spa meet-up.....

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 15:07

Hairy ... overweight ... yep, that's me .

Blindfolds all round then ...
