Midlands & Yorkshire (and anyone else) meet up - Spring 2005

Just a little idea, I would be up for it (obviously).... anyone else?

I'll look at a map and try and work out a convenient location for us all, obviously any ideas would be welcome. For ease it may be good if anyone is willing to put another MNer up for the night they could mention it in their post

no worries, soz not been before so was unsure about kids, especially as further down the thread, someone was bringing theirs!

Frizbe - no worries, the midlanders doa night out every month, mums only, and we have so much fun, as we arent constantly looking over our shoulders for the kids etc. It is very refreshing to get to know people as Women, rather than xx's mom.

Dont get me wrong we love our kids but a break is needed

We also doa Derby meet up 3-4 times a year with Kids

If we are talkign about where, derby is nearer than sheffield I guess for west midlanders...but sheff, derby or notts all fine for me (obviously i woud prefer derby as that's where i live!)
Evening out no kids, great; there are some nice restaurants on Friar Gate in Derby eg Pierre victoire, tonic, zest; can get abit lively there tho, depending what night you are thinking about.

any of the above is fine for me (location!) although Sheffield would be fav.

How about doing the spa in the afternoon for those who can get away and then doing a meal later for all the day people and anyone who can only do the evening?

Would love the excuse to get away for a bit of pampering
