clicked on this thread thinking it might be about books! didnt notice it was in 'meet ups section'

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 23:18

I was somewhere in the middle too....my best friend was the cool one with the gorgeous boyfriend lol

Would love to see them all now. I saw Colin Morris in January when we went out for dp's birthday, and I met up with Nick Ramsden to go to my best friend's funeral a couple of years ago but not seen him since.

Wouldn't be surprised if we've met somewhere back then!!

i love blast from the past moments, if you can think of any more then let me know tommorrow, off to bed now DH is moaning.

Nice chatting to you swiperfox.

If i met someone on here who i knew directly i'm not sure i could reveal myself cos then i know they would know about my present and that would be weird.

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 23:24

same here!! For all of that!! Loads of names are coming to mind now so i'll pop back on here tomorrow and see who else we knew!!

Nice meeting up with you

HellyBelly · 17/07/2005 08:03

I lived in Lower Earley from 14 - 20 and we knew some people from Maiden Erlegh, trying to remember names now! My brother and sister are coming up for 28 and had some friends there, nannyjo may have known some?? I only know first names as these were more bro/sis's friends.

Freaky this isn't it!!

swiperfox · 17/07/2005 21:51

I thought of a load of names last night, now my head's gone blank!!

Gareth Cawsey, anna hardy, johnny somerville, steve and chris blackwell, nathan porter...hmmmm

What names have you got?

nannyjo · 17/07/2005 21:57

johnny was ace i used to work with him at asda he was lovely.

Daniel porter joined school in year 12 i think he was yummy!! had a major crush on him. he was my year but all others were a year above and i didn't know many in that year.

have you heard of stuart white??

vickiyumyum · 17/07/2005 21:58

oh i can't join in this bit, i lived in Wjitley for my teenage years moved away up north and then came back again, now live in south Reading, but what my neighbours say is the posh part!! and some call it shinfield or university area!

I went to southlands or Reading girls school as it changed to when i was in the second year.

swiperfox · 17/07/2005 21:59

What primary school did you go to he went to Aldryngton with me.

I still dream about him now, wonder what he was doing, he WAS the school heart throb and lovely with it too.

I'm27 next month so a year or 2 below you i think.

swiperfox · 17/07/2005 22:06

Richard Searle was a cutie. He had a massive crush on my best friend and followed her round like a puppy dog for a while!!

I wonder what he's up to as well! Did James Mulroney go to maiden erlegh? I had the biggest crush on him!!

I'm 28 at the end of this month

nannyjo · 17/07/2005 22:08

do you still live in Reading now?

nannyjo · 17/07/2005 22:09

Richard settled down really young, got married and had a baby when he was 18 odd i think(might have that wrong though.)

swiperfox · 17/07/2005 22:10

although meet up after that fine too, i just won't have kids with me!

vickiyumyum · 17/07/2005 22:16

oops just realised i put nanas!!! meant nans!

nannyjo · 17/07/2005 22:16

i've got family in woodley, lower earley, three mile cross and town centre.

I don't miss what reading has got but it does still feel like home and i miss not being at home, if i went back though i would hate it because it has chenged loads in just a few years.

I get mad when things change, they didn't ask me if they could change my home town while i'm away!!!!

swiperfox · 17/07/2005 22:17

vicky i grew up in Grays crescent - just across the road from howth drive and bruce road!!

nannyjo · 17/07/2005 22:17

nana sounded quite sweet though
