Swiperfox - yep, you were in between my year and my brothers/sisters year.

Did you ever have that witch of a French teacher??? Gosh, what was her name??!?!?!!

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 19:56

The one i had, i was really horrid too!! Mrd Hollyfield?

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 19:56

There was Mrs Turner as well - apparently she was quite horrible!

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:02

Oh yes, what a cow (sorry!) Mrs Hollyfield was. I was really horrible to her but she was a bth!!

I'm a lovely person now (promise) but went through a bit of a phase at school. I don't know anyone who liked Mrs Hollyfield!!!?!?!?

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:05

lol me neither but i do feel bad now about how nasty i was to her!!! I was a bit of a nightmare at school Not now though of course!! (honest lol)

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:06

who did you go around with?

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:12

I was friends with some girls in my tutor group and also some of the 'naughty girls' but I think I did that to avoid being picked on (as I was at my school up north - kids can be sooo cruel!).

I actually spent most of my time with my boyfriend (at the time) who I saw from the age of 15 - 19. We were actually quite famous - a lot of people knew we were together as it was one of those silly 'love affair' things! We got engaged at one point but we're not together now (thank god, he never let me out which was why I didn't hang around with many!)

What about you???

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:13

Oh no, just realised I advertise with my website on Mumsnet and it's got a picture of me on it

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:15

I was always in with the 'naughty' ones too and was forever in trouble. I went out with a couple of lads in your year but nothing too serious. I'm trying to figure out who you could be lol

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:15

Who did you go out with - go on, you know you want to tell me

bagpussmice · 16/07/2005 20:16

I live in Reading too... near Prospect Park...
You are all v. young and would make me feel ancient if I were to join your meet up(s) - I am 40 (41 this year), with 2 dd's 3.5 and 1.5.
btw Hellybelly - I am going to see your childminder friend next week so thanks for the recommendation!

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:18

lol you'll laugh!!

When i was in the first year i went out with kevin malden lol later on i went out with stuart edwards and a couple of others who were 3/4 years above lol

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:18

No probs bagpuss & you're NOT old - my hubby is 44 and he's certainly not old!!! Good luck with childminder!

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:20

Swiperfox - I'm sure I recognise the names but will check my year photo to check!! My boyfriend was David Taylor - not sure if you know him?

Anyway, best think about having something to eat!

Stay in touch!!!

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:24

omg i remember david taylor from junior school lol

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:26

Swiperfox - lol - what was he like at juniors?? Did you know his younger brother Trevor? (prob not as I think he was 5 yrs younger)

Really am going.

BTW, love the name - take it your kid/kiddies like Dora then!!! My ds used to love it and has a little dora, boots and swiper!

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:30

lol i remember his little brother too - he was the blonde one lol David was one of the nice ones in junior school - I use dto swap football stickers with him lol

DD is a HUGE dora fan!!

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:39

Yeah, he was a lovely kind boy but got posessive when we were going out and didn't like me going out or anything. When we split I made up for it by going out all the time. Trevor and David shared a room at his parents which was embarrassing at times IYKWIM!!

Haven't seen David for years now but when I last saw him, he had a little girl.

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:40

lol aww bless him. Do you still see anyone from school?

HellyBelly · 16/07/2005 20:48

No, nobody from school as a result of not going out when we all left. Used to be good mates with Clare Kendall (not sure if you know her) but apart from seeing her a little bit years and years ago, that's it!

What do you do then or are you a SAHM?

swiperfox · 16/07/2005 20:50

I'm a SAHM now. Before we left Reading dp used to run the Malthouse pub just down the road from the station, do you know it? I'm going back to Readfin in 2 weeks for my birthday night out - can't wait!!! Was Cassio in your year?
