Welcome to our new home Berrie, Zebedeedoodah, Oggsfrog and Binkleandflip.
Hope you all find your way here.

I am trying to sell the spare one now - one of my friends had to drop out already so there are just three of us going now. I'm annoyed more than anything that it has happened now - apparently it could be due to me coughing too strenuously (have had a chesty cough) !!

Zebedeedoodah · 13/12/2007 16:43

Hope you get well soon.

HollyBerrie · 13/12/2007 17:32

Poor binkle!

Zebedeedoodah · 14/12/2007 09:24

Yum yum. And I've brought some into the office today to make them all think I'm a nice person.

HollyBerrie · 14/12/2007 10:06

But you are Zeb!

HollyBerrie · 14/12/2007 10:10

My friend Lee's friend (who incidentally squirmed when I told him I called him this) told me I should not be grumpy about Lee and DVO because I should be pleased for him and he thinks they are well suited and I am married!!!

Zebedeedoodah · 14/12/2007 10:23

Your Friend Lee's Friend's a meany! And I bet he knew all along too, so he can just get right off that moral high ground.

binklebells · 14/12/2007 13:09

Wasnt he the same friend who said there was no way they were seeing each other?? I take serious issue with your friend Berrie, for giving us false hope

Well, here I am with my duff ear, I am getting seriously tired of having supersonic hearing - when I had a shower this morn the water on my head sounded exactly like the tap filling the kettle. I feel like Lassie, I can hear dh's car coming down the road from half a mile away

Worse than that, the sound of my own voice is hurting my ear!! (I know my friends would say now you know what we have to put up with ) I am out tonight with some college friends and will have no choice but to keep uncharateristically quiet and I cant have a drink because I already feel a bit unbalanced and woozy. So cant drink and still have to pay for a taxi because I cant drive either

HollyBerrie · 14/12/2007 13:23

You are a real party girl Binkle. Even when ill you are out on the town!

My friend on the inside is rubbish. He was the one who said it would never happen.

Zebedeedoodah · 14/12/2007 13:25

Poor Binkle, but glad to see you're flying the flag in true Christmas spirit.

Berrie, I think you should tell your 'friend on the inside' that we're no longer speaking to him. Ha! That'll learn him.

Am fed up. Didnt go out on Friday - have been in bed all weekend as I feel sick everytime I move about due to all the lovely fluid seepage in my ear!!

Now on anti-sickness tablets as well which according to the pharmacist may make me feel woozy and nauseous (??) Am still going to Take That tomorrow albeit with cotton wool clotted ear and a green pallor...

HollyBerrie · 16/12/2007 16:58

Oh poor Binkle. When do they think you will be better?

binklebells · 17/12/2007 09:04

Apparently it can take up to a month to heal! Although I am clinging to the drs word that it was a SMALL tear and so hopefully it will mend a lot sooner than that.

Just very annoying!! If you see me tottering down the strand towards you bouncing off shop windows then you know there is some way to go

HollyBerrie · 17/12/2007 09:08

Oh dear...hopefully you will start to feel better as it heals rather than in a month's time

Zebedeedoodah · 17/12/2007 10:24

Poor Binkles. I hope it starts to get better soon too. And is Take That tonight? Just how exciting is that?, although I never became a fan until after they split, so does that count?

binklebells · 17/12/2007 13:16

Yes Take That tonight!! I'm actually beginning to get excited and feeling a bit better as a result though I know I will have to avoid strenuous swaying (!) and the like as I dont want to lose my balance and take a dive !! (If you've never been the MEN arena is seriously steep - even in the lower tiers!)

I braved taking the dog out today too as I didnt dare before in case she pulled me off balance.

You probably get by now that I am a complete wimp in the face of any illness whatsoever so perforating myself has taken its toll

HollyBerrie · 17/12/2007 13:22

Have a great time!

LyraSilvertinsel · 17/12/2007 18:44

Have a great time Binkle and hope the ear's better soon.
How long has Oggs been gone now?

HollyBerrie · 17/12/2007 21:03

A long time.
Please call in Oggs. Just let us know you are alright or even not alright...

Zebedeedoodah · 18/12/2007 08:59

Poor Oggs. I hope she's ok. What about we all send her a Christmas card - if someone's got her address could they email it to me? Or would that be a bit weird and stalker-y?

Zebedeedoodah · 18/12/2007 09:08

More cheerfully, how was last night?!
