Welcome to our new home Berrie, Zebedeedoodah, Oggsfrog and Binkleandflip.
Hope you all find your way here.

Berrie · 21/11/2007 10:59

Thanks!

Berrie · 21/11/2007 11:02

Nothing is bothering me in particular Binkle I just feel really miserable and can't summon up any enthusiasm for things.
Lyra, I'm still taking them but something is amiss certainly. If I go to the Doctor she'll only tell me to double the dose...might be the only way though.

Maybe i need a light box! Berrie scuttles off to look them up!

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 11:06

Berrie, for a momentary high - get that ra-ra skirt on, whack your stereo up and have a dance round the house!! Go one, no-one's looking - it will give you a lovely rosy glow and put the twinkle back in your eye

Berrie · 21/11/2007 11:32

Tee hee...might just do that! I think it might scare the children though!

I think I have definatly got S.A.D....forget the hormones...now all I need to do is splah out a couple of hundred pounds and I'll be cured!

Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 11:51

Berrie, a couple of people here have got light boxes or those natural light alarm clocks and swear by them. But they're not particularly cheap .

Another idea is melatonin. Again, I know people who swear by it, but I'd recommend you research it a bit before you try it - it may not be good with happy pills and I'm not sure if it's licenced in the UK. hmmmm.

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 12:27

Was anyone watching "this morning" just then?

Lee was on it giving some flowers and free tickets to a lady whose son (I think) was disabled as a suprise.

He was looking heavenl--y!!!

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 12:30

I realise that reads completely wrong but you know what I mean

Berrie · 21/11/2007 12:36

Sigh...fancy missing lovely Lee...What else might he be on this week do you think? The One Show? Whoever is on Ch4 at the mo?

Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 12:36

Poo! Some of us are hard at work....no really! I hope Berrie saw it, that'd cheer her up.
He's also looking wayyyy hotter now than he did on ADWD. Must be all that loinclothing

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 12:42

I'm actually genuinely doing housework today and happened to catch sight of his tousled lovelyness in the background - I always leave the tv on for the dog when I'm busy, she likes to bark at Jeremy Kyle

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 13:00

Damn, missed it. Surely he should be doing the rounds this week.
DP says if we do get to take Lee to the Ivy, it won't be for months yet

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 13:12

Can't DP pull his finger out? Honestly!

Loving the dog tv though. And you are performing a public service for us by keeping us informed of what's happening on those daytime sofas, Binkle

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 13:14

oh dear that's a dubious honour - I promise I do other stuff too Am not really daytime TV queen - it's the dog

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 13:15

In fact, I might train her to alert me whenever she sees Lee on screen..

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 13:17

I haven't watched This Morning in ages. I don't like Fern and Phil, they're constantly giggling in a childish manner. Bring back Richard and Judy.

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 13:20

same here but Fern has done really well in her weight loss, she cant be more than a 14/16 now, well done her!!

Right! I am due at the gym at 2.30p.m. I went yesterday so I'm a bit achey and also a bit floored by my detoxing . I know that my trainer has all manner of horrors in store for me today as he says he want to 'blast' me before Christmas, whatever that means .

Should I go and do spinning, balancing on a trampoline and lifting weights with my belly or do I forfeit twenty pound, stay in and watch Doctors with the dog?

Any thoughts?

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 13:34

Doctors? That ain't worth losing 20 quid for.

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 13:34
Grin
Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 13:42

This should make you laugh. Provided you've already changed your bank account details.

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 13:45

I don't think that's the link you were aiming for Zeb.
And no, I haven't changed my account details. People are getting a little too hysterical about the whole thing imho.

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 13:50

Yes, I'm really, really annoyed that dd's details are floating about somewhere but with regard to mine, I suppose they already are out there in the ether in some form anyway.

I couldnt get the link Zeb, will try later.

I'm off to the gym then, I need to work out a bit of frustration as I seem to be in an argumentative mood on MN today and that isnt really like me (not on this thread with my mates obviously!!)

By half three and after all that spinning and bouncing I will look like this :

Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 13:57

Sorry - the links been taken down. Some people have no sense of humour . Oh well.

And good luck to anyone with my bank details. It won't get them very far!

binkleandflip · 21/11/2007 15:59

AH well, I'm back from the gym and looking more purple in the cheeks than but I suppose it'll do me good in the long run...

... ..that is me panting for breath BTW not in shock

Now back to Lee -he did look very lovely today - nice sheeny brown shirt set off his curls a treat - but I have to say, he still didnt have an awful lot to say for himself, but hey what they hell he is just toooooo gorgeous for it to be an issue. Lyra, even if a date at the Ivy is months away we would never forgive you if you didnt take your dh up on it and go. (and may I say what an accommodating man your dh is to suggest it, seeing as you'll no doubt forget to eat your dinner for daydreaming about playing toes-es under the tablecloth with Lee and all )

Zebedeedoodah · 21/11/2007 17:03

I'm liking the toes-ies imagery here. We also agreed ages ago that we weren't particularly interested in his sparkling wit and conversation. After all, with that mother, you really don't want a deep, meaningful long term relationship, now do you!

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 17:10

I'm not sure i want to go. It might shatter the illusion.
He'll probably be too busy anyway.
