Welcome to our new home Berrie, Zebedeedoodah, Oggsfrog and Binkleandflip.
Hope you all find your way here.

No, I'd settle for a short one Zeb...

Hm, that's true, the illusion is always generally better than reality and if your dh is there you cant even really be seen to be thinking of ways to touch his hair (put your arm up to beckon the wait and accidentally on purpose get your watch snagged in it? ) no, would be rude..

LyraSilvertongue · 21/11/2007 17:20

Maybe when DP goes to the loo...

binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 10:19

He was on the BBC Breakfast sofa this morning...in the same shirt!

Zebedeedoodah · 22/11/2007 10:25

that's soooo unfair. You get all the fun.

But bags I get to sit next to him at the Ivy for a little footsie and Parky-style knee touching . Or maybe I should sit opposite so I can gaze adoringly into those eyes. Oh dear, what a conundrum.

binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 10:27

I was lucky to catch it - I had just walked back in from taking dd to school and the dog called me into the lounge

What about sitting opposite and doing toes-ies as well? You'll have to get past my feet first though..

binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 10:28

you didnt miss much if I'm honest Zeb, he really should just sing and look pretty!

Zebedeedoodah · 22/11/2007 10:55

Singing and looking pretty works for me. I can get intellectual stimulation elsewhere.

I've also got very sharp toes. Be warned.

LyraSilvertongue · 22/11/2007 12:33

So am I smuggling you all into the Ivy then? I'll have to wear a very big, long coat...

Damn straight you are! You don't think we'd trust you on your own with him, DP or no DP.

I've finally been left alone in the office, giving me the chance to sneak a peek at the Make You a Star video. Pretty damn fine, and it improves the song no end. But why's he eating a croissant instead of steak and onions?

LyraSilvertongue · 22/11/2007 13:30

I don't really get the video though. what's it all about? it just seems to be a lot of shots of LM sitting about in a flat, singing and smiling to himself. No story.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 22/11/2007 13:44

Bu$$ered if I know! I was too busy waiting for the onions to show up.

binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 15:45

I get the feeling they didnt have a lot of time to shoot it and decided to forego any actual real storyline and just get on with it.

LyraSilvertongue · 22/11/2007 17:22

No Berrie or Oggs today. Hope you two are ok

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 18:19

Hmm....am wondering where they are...hope they are both doing ok.

oggsfrog · 22/11/2007 19:14

Hellooooo [smiel]

I've been busy buying a pair of Rosa Kleb shoes

Off now to have a bubble bath, drink some red wine, eat some chocolate and watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Dh is out as if you couldn't guess .

LyraSilvertongue · 22/11/2007 20:04

Shoes with knives in the toes? Why?

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 22/11/2007 21:03

Just listened to Leefest version of PIB. it's infinitely better than the album version. Ho hum.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 23/11/2007 09:08

Told ya so Lyra.
But the cd is growing on me and I've almost stopped cringing at Gonna Make It With You, but it's still sooooo 70s kitsch. You & Me and The Best Is Yet To Come are definitely the best tracks though.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 12:39

No no no no no. The best is yet to come is almost as dull as the Gary Barlow track, which I refuse to listen to now.
All That You Know, How Can I Be Sure and Make It With You are the best tracks. I'm too young to remember the original
