What better way to have your first Lee-in-the-flesh experience than with this rowdy bunch then!

I cant wait for Oggs to log on!!

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:47

First time with Lee...but many... many times in the past... groan

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:48

What is bad about travel lodge?
We 3 could share in the Docklands for £49 between us

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:49

Or £29 at Battersea!

Where would you stay if you stayed over Binkle?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:51

I didn't think we'd ever do it!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:54

Just to go off on a tangent..my dd was in want of a project so I gave her the bumper addition Argos Christmas Catalogue and told her to cut out and stick on a card the things she liked so we could send it to father christmas to choose from...

...she had cut out the following:

A hair and make-up styling set - £35.99 (she's 5)
A talking baby Chou Chou doll - £45.99
Assorted My little Pony gard - £59.99
A Barbie palm top computer - £45.99 (??!)
A light up skipping rope - £10.00 (thats more like it)
A moon sand craft kit - £8.99 (that my girl)
Crayon and sketch pad set - £5.99 (excellent choice if I might say so)
and BUTTERSCOTCH - the life size shetland pony that trots and whinnies just like a real pony - £300.00 !!

a/ probably get a real one for that price
b/ I dont want anything in the house that trots and whinnies on a whim - will seriously un-nerve me!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:55

Needless to say Butterscotch wont be trotting up my drive anytime soon (or down the chimney lol)

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:56

Binkle...laughing!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:56

Well, if I stay right through from 26th then I'd probably stay on Baker street at Sherlock Holmes but if I come home in between (which realistically I'll probably have to do) then I dont know yet - will have a think - what are the options so far?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:57

Zeb, that hotel looks nice!

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:57

Stay on Baker Street at Sherlock Holmes?

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:58

Yes it does actually, really nice

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:59

Sorry, there is a hotel that dh uses called the Sherlock Holmes and its on Baker Street and its acutally really nice, modern and boutique-y instead of how you imagine ie chintzy

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:59

We can all stay together in a family room!!!
" of us can share a twin and one have a single.
We can all have singles.
Oggs suggests Travelodge in Covent Garden.
Zeb suggests a hotel next to the theatre.
I suggested a cheaper travelodge where we can get a discounted room.

Zebedeedoodah · 30/10/2007 14:00

Well it's easy and central and you won't get lost - it's more or less across from Charing Cross station if anyone knows where that is.

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:01

it is Berrie

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:01

Sorry was supposed to say "HERE IT IS"

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:02

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:04

I will have to consult with dh first but if I am coming back in between doses of Jo then I am happy to go along with whatever is easiest and best for everyone else

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:04

sorry its working now

Berrie · 30/10/2007 14:08

That looks lovely too Binkle...will start doing the lottery

Berrie · 30/10/2007 14:09

Not sure whether I'd rather share a room centrally or have a single further out...

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 14:28

Have e-mailed you Zeb

Berrie · 30/10/2007 14:58
