I say yes - fine by me - excellent in fact!!

Do you want me to book the tickets now?

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:05

To be fair they were all over her, wanting to cuddle her etc. A couple of the locals turned their noses up when we sat in the bar and she took up basically all the floor space - but dog-friendly is dog-friendly! The room was lovely but really warm so I didnt get much sleep as I was listening to her very loud panting all night - I stuffed cotton wool balls from the bathroom in my ears at around 4 am in a bid to avoid committing doggycide!

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 13:08

Yes, book book book!
So where was DD? Did you take her with you?

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:10

yes she was with us - she really enjoyed the yomping actually and the hotel was nice so I reckon we'll go again but leave the dog at home

Right, just confirm for the final time:

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 13:13

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:14

Good thinking...earplugs so i don't have to listen to Oggs snoring!

Are you staying over Binkle? If so a family room should have 4 beds no?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:14

It's definatly Lee?

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:15

Of the upper circle is that?

Not sure of accommodation details yet

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 13:18

Yes, upper circle. Should be £30 each.
yes, should be Lee, unless he's ill.

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:19

ok am off to do it, back in a mo...

(he better not have jetlag!)

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:21

Nah family room has to be 2 children.

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 13:24

I suppose they'd get groups of marauding teenagers if they didn't have that rule.
I'll ask DP to suggest a hotel. He knows the area around the Strand pretty well.

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:24

Well....

It. Is. Done!!

YEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 13:26

Hurrah!
I'll get a cheque to you asap. Well I would if I knew your address...or even your name
Could you maybe post your email address on here?

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:27

It's [email protected]

I'm so excited now! We are going to have such a laugh I know it

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:30

would any of these travel lodges be ok Lyra? they are cheaper

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:31

Binkle no you are the crazy woman from my dream???

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:32

What do you mean Berrie what have I missed?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:35

I had a dream that we went to the theatre and one of you who was called Rachel or Rebecca paid for Lee to come and meet us and it turned out that she was an ex of Lee's and she had led us all on and it was all a bit strange and we decided to do a runner from her...

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:36

OH right!

Well I am rebecca but not an ex of Lee - think I might have mentioned that before now if I was

Berrie · 30/10/2007 13:37

She would say that...she was very strange...

Zebedeedoodah · 30/10/2007 13:40

Binkle - how much do I owe, and where do I send it? I'll email you. You are a star, and give the dog a big cuddle from me.

For a hotel, also try the Strand Palace Hotel (right next to the theatre). It's standard twin room is £129, or £92 for a single and includes breakfast. My colleagues have stayed there more than once, so it must be ok and a far sight better than travelodge!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:40

I'm not strange honest!

I'm well happy about going to Jo again though..

It may not be worth me actually going home between 26th - 30th so I may stay down in London if I can swing it

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 13:42

Thanks Zeb, I'm just really glad that we stopped talking about how great it would be to go and now are actually going to go!!

So, lets recap - Zeb and Berrie, this will be your first time, yes?

Zebedeedoodah · 30/10/2007 13:43

Yep, I'm a virgin
