Zebedeedoodah · 30/10/2007 15:06

I haven't got an email yet either.

Berrie · 30/10/2007 15:07

Yes I did it earlier!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 15:13

Sorry not come through Berrie, can you re-send it to me later?

Zeb, it has gone in my sent messages so if it doesnt materialise can you let me know later and I'll re-send

Berrie · 30/10/2007 15:26

It's in sent items...will try again later.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 16:38

Oh happy day

Yay!
Thanks for booking Binkle, I've just sent you an email.
How will you travel down? I'm debating at moment....plane or train?

Yay! Thanks Berrie. The dvds arrived this afternoon. Thankyou. Thankyou.

Berrie · 30/10/2007 16:43

What are your latest thoughts on accomodation Oggs?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 16:47

Zeb and Binkle have set me off with their posh hotels...I have visions of myself lying in a lovely room, lying in and reading the morning paper in bed before going down for a leisurly breakfast....I deserve it!...
Not quite the same as bunking down with 2 strangers, trying not to make any smells in the en-suite!

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 16:56

Gawd, I don't know. I'm trying to piece my journey together without the benefit of a map . It's just taken me 10 mins staring at an underground map to find Liverpool St Station.

If I fly I will be coming into Stansted, then Lyra recommended the Express to Liverpool Street Station. I can get the tube there on the yellow line [hopelessly naive emoticon] to Embankment then walk to the Strand?
There was the Travelodge in Covent Garden which I think is in walking distance of The Strand iirc, which had twin rooms for £105 I think (no breakfast). The Hotel that Zeb recommended on the Strand would be handy as no walking/taxi involved. They do a twin room for 129 with full breakfast.
The one Binkle recommended is way out of my price range unfortunately.
I'm just rather nervous of having to navigate London, at night, after a few drinks .
Do you still want to share a room?
I looked at the saver travelodges but without a map have no idea of where they are.

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 17:02

LEE ALERT!

Lee is in Heat this week - nice three page interview and lovely main picture of him hanging from a lampost

I'll probably drive down Oggs or get the train

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:04

You could walk Oggs but you could also get the tube. By the time you've got into the city you won't be too daunted by getting tubes. I'm sure one of us could meet you at embankment anyway...

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:05

Berrie says confidently...not actually looking at a map but referring to hazy memory!

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:07

Oh yes look...it's close (Berrie looking at map now)

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 17:14

This is mad. I lived in London when I was 18 doing voluntary work. I had no fear then .

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:15

I feel the same Oggs...

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:17

The travel lodge site keeps freezing up on me. I'm trying to see where the further out ones are so that I can asess how much of a journey it would be.
If we stay local I would have to share. It's too expensive for me!

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 17:26

Hey Berrie, sorry but I still havent received your e-mail but Oggs and Zeb have got yours - I've sent another to you Zeb because I forgot something in the last one.

Sooooo....

Countdown starts here

binkleandflip · 30/10/2007 17:33

just reading the heat interview and...

....Lee has split from his girlfriend! So, it's anybody's game now, as they say

Obviously feel very upset for them at this very unexpected(yeh, right) turn of events - apparently they split a month ago having just grown apart.

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:40

Tis only a matter of time before he catches a glimpse of a lovely lady...a lovely Mummy type...

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:40

Right...will send again...

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 17:42

Yeah, well, I didn't want to mention it in case you all got jealous..................
Wonder if Mis Van Outen has been sniffing around?

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:44

Right have sent it again Binkle.
We really do need our own rooms now Oggs in case we get lucky with Lee!
Think it's going to be too complicated to go to a further away hotel.

Berrie · 30/10/2007 17:46

How will we all recognise each other?
Will we all wear something? Carry something?

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 18:11

If you want to give me some place names, i can give you an idea of how far out/easy to get to they are.
I'd definitely recommend staying close to the theatre though if you can. Then we can stay out drinking longer

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 18:26

Berrie how do you feel about the one on the Strand or do you really want your own room?
I think I'd be happier staying somewhere I wouldn't need to travel to.

Lyra would it be feasible to stay in that vicinity before and after show?
How does that suit Binkle and Zeb?

Questions, questions...
