Lyra I am haunted by your boots

Berrie · 29/10/2007 12:02

Oh Oggs! Blimmin' sorry, just found your parcel in a pile...forgot all about it, will pop up the post office this afternoon.

Zebedeedoodah · 29/10/2007 12:34

Berrie, what are you in a grump about?

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 12:50

Why are you haunted by my boots?
I've got to wait 4-6 weeks for them.
So what's wrong with Baby? I'd be her if I wasn't already posh.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 13:45

I don't do pink and fluffy
Scary is a gobby mare...

Berrie · 29/10/2007 13:46

Lyra, I am haunted by your boots because now I want some

Zeb, grumpy, moi?

Berrie · 29/10/2007 13:49

Also... as the largest of you all, being called Baby is not the kind of cause for merriment I wish to be....

Zebedeedoodah · 29/10/2007 13:51

Nooooo!!! Baby is a compliment. It means you're the youngest...or you look the youngest, which is even better

Zebedeedoodah · 29/10/2007 13:54

And I'll lay odds on you not being the largest. I think that's me.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 13:56

Put your money where your mouth is Zebbi...What dress size are you?

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 13:59

I don't think any of us are particularly slim, except maybe Binkle.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 14:01

Oh dear...have I been too blunt?

Berrie · 29/10/2007 14:04

Hee hee, do you think we will call each other by our real names when we meet or stick to our Mumsnet ones?

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 14:09

I'm going to call you Baby
It'll be weird knowing each other's names. I like Lyra better than my real name.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 14:29

Better not I like lyra too. I'll never know who anyone is if I don't use Mumsnet names Do you ever catch yourself out by thinking about referring to yourself in an emailor something as your mumsnet name or calling dh, dh?

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 14:39

I've caught myself almost referring to DS1 with friends instead of using his real name. I spend too much time on MN.

Zebedeedoodah · 29/10/2007 16:03

Size 14 Berrie. Although I can sometimes squeeze into my size 12 stretch jeans if I wear my magic knickers! (the muffin top's a bit gross though )

I also think of DH as DH

Berrie · 29/10/2007 17:53

Well I can beat a size 14 easily and not in a good way!

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 29/10/2007 20:04

Haven't been able to get to bank today so will have to try and get there tomorrow - unless you want to do the honours Lyra. The tickets are still available (Row C, seats 18-22, U/C).

How tall are you lot?

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 20:33

I'm 5ft 5ins. Why?
Still waiting for Binkle to confirm that the evening show is ok with her. Don't want to book it till then.

Berrie · 30/10/2007 07:10

5ft 8

Zebedeedoodah · 30/10/2007 08:55

5ft 4. Why do you think I wear stilletoes?

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 09:29

Where is Binkle? We need to get those tickets booked.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 30/10/2007 09:30

Just wondered... a size 16 on a 5' 0" person is a different kettle of fish than a size 16 on a 5'10" person.
Me, I'm 5'7". At my very slimmest (too thin) I was a size 8-10, at moment I'm sort of 16/18.
Where is Binkle?
Coo, stilettoes. I don't wear heels. I don't actually do dressing up. I'm usually in trews, walking boots and a jumper. Don't worry, I'll walk a few steps behind you all

MrsSeanSlater · 30/10/2007 09:41

But you will dress up for Joseph, yes?
