Ta daaaa.
Welcome to our new home .

I'm not a psycho either - not since I started taking the tablets anyway hehehehe.

TBH, an evening performance would work better for me as I could then get down in the day rather than the night before. And like you say, we can get to know each other before the show.

DH is looking for a company flat around South Kensington (he has ideas of grandeur...I think it's all those hedge funders he keeps having lunch with ). Still, I can't complain I guess!

And I'm afraid my credit card melted a very long time ago, so I'm no use at all

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 16:57

Ok, that's two votes for the evening performance.
What about the rest of you, Berrie, Oggs and Binkle? It would give you all more time to get to London. You wouldn't have to leave at the crack of dawn.

Berrie · 28/10/2007 17:30

Yep evening is good for me!

I am a psycho!

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 17:31

OK, 3 for the evening. Just need the other two votes then we can book.

Berrie · 28/10/2007 17:54

Does anyone have a paypal account?
Would that be a good way of paying the booker back?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 17:56

It would, except the booker would have to pay Paypal fees. We could all pay a bit extra to cover the fees though.

Berrie · 28/10/2007 18:00

Whatever!

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 18:52

I was just saying

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 20:16

I'm happy to go with the evening performance .
Where's Binkle? Don't think I've seen her on here since Thurs.
So ...who is actually staying over/needing a hotel?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 20:16

So Berrie, booze-maker extraordinaire, you know those bunches of grapes in my garden that I mentioned a while back? i thought I'd infuse some vodka with them (or do you think some other spirit would be better?)
So what do I do? Freeze them first? Prick them? And what kind of container should I use, a small demijohn or suchlike?
The grapes are proper grapes now and have a very deep red colour which stained DS2's hands when he ate a bunch, so I thought the vodka would make nice Christmas presents in pretty bottles. I've got about 30-40 little bunches so how much vodka would I need.
So many questions, sorry.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 20:17

Oggs, I think Berrie is staying over but whether in Richmond or a hotel I do not know. Boing has accommodation sorted. Not sure about Binkle.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 20:29

Thanks Lyra

OY BERRIE! are you staying over in a hotel or what?
BII-IIINNNKKKKKLLE where are you????

Zeb, I've got all extremeties crossed for your dh

If we are The Five, which ones are you? Bagsy George

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 20:30

John.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 20:41

Who the buggery is John?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 20:43

Duh, I thought we were talking about the Beatles but of course there were only four of them
I never read the Famous Five so I don't know their names.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 20:43

Can we be another five? Spice Girls? I bagsy posh.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 07:19

Helloooooooooo!
Oggs, I'll stay over with you! I have been looking for some travel lodge prommotional codes.
Lyra. I don't know but I wouldn't have thought the grapes would have enough flavour for the vodka. Will give it some thought.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 08:51

here is a recipe

If you really wanted to use your grapes I'd mix them with some soft fruit with more flavour. I suspect that grapes are just a bit too juicy for this sort of thing and it would be a bit watery. I'll ask dh if he has a sort of any old fruit wine recipe rather than the complicated ones I found.

Berrie · 29/10/2007 08:58

Why do you want to be Posh Lyra. Is it the body, the money or David Becham that most attracts you?
I wouldn't mind being her for the body...I'd be able to pig myself for years and years!

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 09:01

Well, it wasn't so much that I like Posh but don't like the others.
Baby - no.
Scary - no.
Sporty - no way.
Ginger - I think not.
I don't actually think Posh has a very good body, way to skinny, bones sticking out here and there. But yes, Mr Beckham would be nice...

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 09:02

Thanks for the recipe. I'll have to get on with it soon. The birds have been at them.

Zebedeedoodah · 29/10/2007 09:06

I'll be Sporty. ROFPML. hahahahaha... Zeb bounces off in near hysterics at the prospect of anything even vaguely athletic.
Who's the Baby then?!

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2007 09:07

Oggs can be Ginger. She has red hair doesn't she?

Berrie · 29/10/2007 11:43

Right so I'm Scary or Baby is that right?
Great choice...

Berrie · 29/10/2007 11:43

Whose idea was this?
