Ta daaaa.
Welcome to our new home .

Let me be clear before anyone takes offence, I wasn't worried that I wouldn't like you lot, but that you lot might not like me. Well, not worried as such, just a though. And it's not that I'm an unlikeable person or anything. I should stop now.

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 23:33

Thought, not though. That's what a 16-hour shift does to you. I should be in bed, not wittering on on t'net.

binkleandflip · 28/10/2007 00:09

So are we agreed on 30th January and Lyra, the tickets you found are they still available? If yes i think we should go for them immediately if not hopefully the ones I saw are still available...

Sorry have not been on this weekend - bit mad and busy with real life bah!

Lyra, why would you worry we wouldnt like you? Thats crackers! We're all bound to be a bit bashful and tentative in real life but a few drinks should take care of that right? We've got loads in common and it'll be great

Berrie · 28/10/2007 07:44

Right then...dream time again!

We'd met up and gone to the theatre (twas Phantom though for some reason)and my friend had arranged for us to go backstage during the performance and watch from the wings. When my friend went back on (in his lycra skeleton outfit)we went up the stairs and there was Lee in his DJ. I asked him what he was doing here and shouldn't he be dreaming away in another theatre when one of you revealed that you had paid him to come (with a large donation to Children in Need) you then turned to him and said...don't you remember me Lee? It turned out you were his long lost love. He turned away in a troubled way, I suppose because he has a new love...the rest of the dream had us huddled wondering whether to give you the slip as you were obviously a bit of a psycho!

Berrie · 28/10/2007 07:46

So! Which one of you does my subconcious think is a weird girl called Rachel who didn't reveal her relationship with Lee to us and cooked up this cunning plan?
I think it was Kanga!

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 10:19

I read that as Lee in his PJs , and my middle name is Rachel...............

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 10:25

Lyra, Theatremonkey says the safety rail can impinge on the view in rows a-c of the U/C.
Would we not be better going with the ones Binkle found in Row D?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 10:58

I was in row c and there was no problem with the safety rail.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 11:10

Binkle, the tickets I found are with Keith Prowse. If we wanted to go in the evening on Jan 30 we can have seats 23-27 in row C, or if we want the matinee it would be seats 26-30.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 11:14

tbh seats 26-30 are no more central than seats 8-12 so it's not going to make a huge difference which set we go with. Also Keith Prowse charges a booking fee and See Tickets doesn't iirc. So maybe we should go with Binkle's? I'll do one last quick search to see if I can get us in the front rows of the stalls (within grabbing distance ) but it's highly unlikely.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 11:17

This ticket site has a picture of Craig in his cheapo Joseph coat where Lee should be. Grrr.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 11:24

Ok, I've found five tickets in the stalls/dress circle, but it doesn't specify which seats and it's £57 per ticket.
I think we need to make a decision and book!

Zebedeedoodah · 28/10/2007 12:11

I'd say go for it, Lyra, but I've not been to the theatre, so it's difficult to know.

And I'm more worried that you're all going to hate me!!!! But please can everyone cross their fingers that DH gets his flat this week? It's a pig of a rental market out there and he's been looking since April but everything's either too expensive for what they're offering, or he gets gazzumped by unscrupulous estate agents. Then we can all meet there first! oops, DS is screaming, best go.....

Zebedeedoodah · 28/10/2007 12:30

Obviously we'd meet at a bar around the corner first, just to make sure none of us are homicidal psycopaths!

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 12:53

But which should we go for Zeb?
Where is DH looking for a flat? Is he buying or renting?

Berrie · 28/10/2007 14:19

Does Lee come out for autographs for a matinee?
He's more likely to fall in love with me in the dark tbh
Zeb...I'm worried about that to so don't worry! I think the pub before flat is a good idea now I've had that dream, one of you turned out to be very strange...

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 15:04

Seats 13-17 Row D Upper Circle are available for matinee on Wed 30 Jan with SEE (you're right Lyra, there is no booking fee with SEE).They are more central are they not?

Don't know whether I'd prefer matinee or evening. I suppose it doesn't really matter. Matinee would give us more time together after the show; evening would give us time to get acquainted before, then go for a drink after??
Don't know. Then again I'm notoriously crap at at making decisions

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 15:11

Seats 18-32 Row C Upper Circle available for Wed 30 Jan 7.30pm performance, with See. They are central.

Berrie · 28/10/2007 15:16

I'd really like to see Lee afterwards...would also like to have a long boozy evening with you lot
Don't know who I'm referring to Oggs...don't know which one of you is pshyco Rachel or it could have been Rebecca....

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 15:28

I think 18-22 row c, 7.30 performance. it will fell more of an occasion if we go in the evening. Then we can meet, get to know each other a bit, get something to eat then see the show, and have a drink afterwards (after waiting outside for Lee's autograph of course).
What do the rest of you think? We need to make a decision. Who's gonna book it.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 15:32

So we don't know if he comes out after matinee?

Has he always come out after the performance?

So do we know yet who is actually needing a hotel? (apart from me)

Love those boots by the way Lyra, and am very that you can even contemplate a short skirt. My knees are so fat that if I wore a short skirt I could draw a face on each of them and pretend I had two toddlers with me

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 15:36

I can contemplate the short skirt, but I can't get away with it (yet).I still need to lose a stone but the boots are going to take so long to arrive that I've got plenty of time.
I think Lee comes out after every performance, including matinees, but I don't know for sure. He definitely does after the evening shows.

EyeOfNewtAndToeOfoggsFrog · 28/10/2007 15:37

I don't know if I've enough to cover it until I can get to the bank. I can try and go tomorrow and hope they are still available.
Is everyone definately coming?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 16:25

I think so. I can put it on my credit card, as long as everyone can get a cheque to me asap. We still haven't decided whether we're going for matinee or evening though.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/10/2007 16:28

btw, I can assure you all that I'm not a psycho.
