Silently slinks away...

Had a bad day...

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 07:48

Drunk again Oggs?
[hgrin}

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 07:48

Try again

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 07:50

It's funny how we've got most of the UK regions covered: south east, south west, midlands, north west and Scotland. Just north east, N Ireland and Wales missing.

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 07:55

I've found 5 tickets for the Jan 30 matinee in row c of the upper circle, seats 26-30. Any better? the more central the better imo and I was in row C the first time and it was a good view.

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 08:04

Also found Wed, 16th January 2008, 7.30 PM - Grand Circle: C23 - C24 - C25 - C26 - C27

DP and I were in row c seats 23 and 24.

Berrie · 27/10/2007 08:56

Tee Hee Oggs!
Lyra. Whatever. I only really want to drool over Lee too. If I have to sit through the show so be it!

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 09:02

Yes but you want to have the best view of him though, yes?

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 09:06

Forget Jan 16, that's a Lewis show.

Berrie · 27/10/2007 09:36

But of course!
Nose to nose preferably!
The earlier it gets into Jan. the trickier for me anyway!

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 13:40

Can I have opinions on these boots please? To buy or not to buy?

Berrie · 27/10/2007 14:10

For riding or for leisure?
I like them and if you can afford them then why not?

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 14:19

Just for leisure. Never ridden a horse in my life
I thought they'd look good with a little black skirt and tights.

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 14:36

I just ordered the boots. I can't afford it but my credit card can

Zebedeedoodah · 27/10/2007 15:06

I'm liking the boots. Good call!

I also spent some time in Wales and historically my family's Irish - does that help with our geographic coverage?

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 15:14

Why not. I once went to the north east so that region's covered too

Berrie · 27/10/2007 15:43

Can help with that too. My maternal grandfather came from Whitby. Indeed family myth has is that we are related to Captain Cook, though this is complicated since all his children died and the name with them.
Also my maiden name is Welsh so must be a little bit welsh!

'Little skirt and tights...' sigh. Have not done that since I was twenty something. My sister assures me I could still get away with it but I am dubious. Thing is I feel so much older than I reckon I actually look.

What on earth led you to that website Lyra if you don't ride?

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 15:47

I was looking for riding-style boots so googled riding boots.
I'll have to make sure I've lost a bit more weight before I try to get into any short skirts. None of mine fit me any more. I've lost 5lb so far but I haven't dared weigh myself since Wednesday because I've had lots of wine/Champagne and a posh meal out on Thursday, so I'm more likely to have put on than lost.

Berrie · 27/10/2007 15:58

It probably won't be as bad as you think Lyra.

Tee a deedle hee...Dh just took the children out so I could do some preparation for my job that starts next week. I had to get some bits from the co-op, sort out dinner and by the time I had got into bed with a mug of tea, some cake and a magazine, I heard them come back!
I had craftily laid my stuff out on the table downstairs ready to rush to and look like I was working but I was too late, trapped upstairs with a mouth full of cake and a steaming mug of tea. I dodged into the bathroom and flushed the chain as the door opened, washed my hands and left the tea in the bathroom. I think I've got away with it and have retrieved the tea now

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 16:07

Naughty naughty Berrie
He can't have been gone for long. If DP takes the boys out I expect at least a couple of hours of peace.

Berrie · 27/10/2007 16:30

No he wasn't but the shop he went to for my new brake pads and indicator bulbs was shut and i did spend longer than anticipated choosing cake in the Co-Op! It was 2 pack and I ate both

Berrie · 27/10/2007 19:55

I should stay the night. I deserve it for having 2 children and doing nothing but look after them for years.

MrsSeanSlater · 27/10/2007 20:09

You do deserve a treat.
What if we all decide we don't like each other when we meet?

LyraSilvertongue · 27/10/2007 20:11

Doh.

Berrie · 27/10/2007 21:21

Can't see it happening myself...you can piss off home though so don't worry...as long as Oggs doesn't snore it'll be ok
