I was trying to tax my car online and i've taken it off the road instead. That will teach me to do it whilst dd is emptying the sudacreme on to my bed.

Berrie, just have a small one I've been good eating wise today - small bowl of porridge and scrambled eggs for lunch but tonight I'm going to see a play so will be quaffing a few red wines - all cultural, like, - in the interval.

I have been good too. Muesli for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and no birthday cake, no left over party food and no homemade biscuits... [smug emoticon]

I'm beginning to doubt my sanity... dh and I are taking dd ice-skating tomorrow . Neither of us have stepped foot on a ice rink in about 27 years.

Oggs I drank 2 leffe and 1/2 a glass of white wine both left over from dh's b'day

Lyra...I don't know...it's getting earlier and earlier at the moment! I put the kids down quite early nowadays (can't wait for some peace!)So I started drinking at 6. I guess by 8 I'd had enough to drink and I was tired. I read a chapter or two then turned the light off at 8.37!I HATE being dragged up at 6.30 am and being so tired I can't get going. This way I've had loads of sleep.

I have a bad knee, atrocious balance at the best of times, and the fear that should I fall I'll go down with such a thump that the whole ice rink will shatter and the aftershocks will register on the richter scale .
Dh has said that if I want I can sit it out and become official photographer and he'll go on the ice with dd
I'll hire the boots and give it a go.
