I'm drinking low-cal tonic water with lots of ice.
I've been trying to low-carb too because it's the quickest way to flatten my stomach (3-4 days) but I've got a sweet tooth so it's very hard to stick to.

MrsSeanSlater · 17/10/2007 20:55

Who's this hypnolady then?

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 20:57

Same here re sweet tooth, I know you can have sugar free jelly on low-carb but just not the same as say, a bounty, or some green and blacks, or a creme egg

MrsSeanSlater · 17/10/2007 21:00

Creme Egg . They're evil.

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:01

I went to her last year, she does the same I suppose as Paul McKenna - you have a session each week where you are put into a state of relaxtion and receptiveness and given suggestions about your eating habits and she throws in a bit of NLP at the end to boost your self-esteem. No diet and no special foods - but I lost a stone in 6 weeks without even consciously trying and felt really good about myself. I should have carried on going but I am going to go back. It's the only way I've lost weight ever without restricting myself in one way or another, amazing really.

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:01

Are they? Why what have I missed? Is it a Nestle thing

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:04

Am a fool. Of course they are Cadburys! Why evil then? Evil as in lovely??

oggsfrog · 17/10/2007 21:08

I don't tend to crave sweet things...tbh I don't tend to have cravings. My appetite disappears. One standby I used to have was double cream whipped with some splenda and about a teaspoon of cocoa. Very yummy.

I too can eat badly when I low-carb.
Today I didn't have any breakfast and only started to feel hungry while we were on a trip to the vets and dd started singing a song about roast potatoes and cheese . We nipped into tesco's and bought dd a sandwich; I grabbed a pot of egg mayo sandwich filling and some crispy cooked bacon to scoop it out with . We had macadamia nuts for pudding.
This evening I had 2 lamb chops and a minute amount of broccoli.
Will have to make the effort tomorrow to have salad for lunch, and more veg with tea.
Must do some exercise too.

MrsSeanSlater · 17/10/2007 21:09

Evil as in loads of chocolate hollowed out with a load of sugar crammed into the middle. They have to be the least healthy food on the planet (but lovely too, especially the yellow bit).

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:24

Oh well then yes agree, evil, evil, spawn of the devil - but ultimately lovely! I've never done drugs of any kind but the rush you get after stuffing a creme egg (and the terrible, awful guilty bloated come down five minutes later) is probably very similiar

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:30

Now then..

Lee and Rufus Sewell - lookylikeys? Your thoughts please

MrsSeanSlater · 17/10/2007 21:34

Nay, don't like RF at all.

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:34

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:35

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:37

MrsSeanSlater · 17/10/2007 21:46

And an English accent, whatever part of the world they're in.

binkleandflip · 17/10/2007 21:48

yes and a need to explain their actions fully and at length immediately before exacting ultimate and final revenge - leaving just enough time for the protagonist to escape/fight back/be rescued lol

Berrie · 17/10/2007 22:06
