Hi, oxo

Ros,
Would you like to come over tomorrow morning? Dd normally sleeps in the afternoon.

SJ,
Wed morning is good for me.

Foxie,
Can I use your comments about the products on the site?

Btw, I texted you.

foxcub · 20/08/2007 18:35

Mellow - 'course you can!

I will keep the suki eye cream, as I think its a lot richer than Clinique, so I'd like to try it out. Thanx though

Yingers74 · 20/08/2007 19:27

xoxo - know how you feel! Am also a bit rubbbish at keeping up on mumsnet but am more determined this time round! I also only go on this thread!!

mellow and fox - see you thurs!

Wish I had a garden big enough to house a playhouse, if we built one there would be no garden!

CountessDracula · 20/08/2007 19:29

SJ99 · 20/08/2007 20:41

Mellow - Weds morning's perfect, thanks

Yingers and OXO I know what you mean, each time I log on the conversation's moved in so fast, hard keeping up isn't it?

rosmerta · 20/08/2007 21:26

Mellow - I've remembered I've got a hospital appt tomorrow so don't know when I'm going to be around. What about Weds or Thurs?

SJ - Same applies, am free Weds & Thurs

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 22:01

Ros,
Are you around Wed morning?

sfxmum · 21/08/2007 10:29

good morning all

what dreadful grey uninspiring morning!
must kick self to go for a walk

foxcub · 21/08/2007 11:01

It really does seem like October doesn't it?

SushiMummy · 21/08/2007 11:16

Morning all.

Have switched the CH on.

Mellow, I think I'd like the carrot serum (?) if you have one. Are you free this weekend? BTW, the eczema is completely gone!

sfxmum · 21/08/2007 11:25

dd just wants to curl up on my lap and such her thumb
was planning on popping to Richmond partly to get some paints and paper and other craft stuff for dd indoor activities, might just go to mothercare and see what they have

rosmerta · 21/08/2007 12:19

morning all, I've got my winter boots out today

Sfx - Mothercare have some craft sets in and so do Boots.

Mellow - I am free tomorrow am. Would you like to meet up then? Am happy to meet at either mine or yours, whichever's easier. Though ds does tend to get a bit possessive of his toys if other children are around.

Think I might take ds to Syon Park this afternoon and go to the aquarium or the butterfly house if they're not too busy.

SJ99 · 21/08/2007 12:42

Hi all

Ros & Mellow - Why don't we meet up together on Weds am then as it looks like we're all free then?

Sushi - we lit a fire on Sat night it was so cold at our friends, a fire in Aug, shocking

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 14:35

Sushi,
I'm free this weekend. I'm glad to hear your eczema is gone.

I've sent you an e-mail.

lemonaid · 21/08/2007 14:40

Ooops, lost this thread for a while.

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 14:45

SJ and ros,
The weather does not look promising tomorrow. Would you like to come to mine if your ds don't mind playing with dd's toys?

Anytime from 10 am would be fine with me.

foxcub · 21/08/2007 15:01

Lemonaid - how are you feeling?

SushiMummy · 21/08/2007 15:10

Mellow, I've replied to your email.

sfxmum · 21/08/2007 15:38

and can I say again how awful and grey it is today!

we got a puzzle and some paint not forgetting the fairy wings

at least we are getting on with potty training, even with nappy she sits on the potty then looks puzzled she can't see itI have also been patted on the knee and told how well I am doing

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 15:46

That's funny sfx

We went to the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre at lunchtime 'cos dd was whining all morning and ended up with two cans of baked beans and a bag of french beans.

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 15:46

I completely agree. It's a really miserable day.

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 15:48

Foxie,
I finally read The Small Island yesterday and I had a good cry afterward, partly to do with the mom giving her babe at the end and partly my depressed state (with the weather).

mellow2 · 21/08/2007 15:48

giving her babe away, i mean

foxcub · 21/08/2007 15:59

sfx - you are doing well

Mellow - this weather is making me feel very negative too. I hate this type of weather Its so dark

Have you read any other Andrea Levy? Her other books are great too! I can't remember if I lent them to you or what LOL!! I still have your two pearls upstairs

Have just written to work asking to work 4 days (one from home) and am getting cold feet about returning to work. I've ask for a room and breaks to express milk in and I get the feeling no one has ever asked before - the whole ecpressing at work bit is making me feel very daunted.

I need a pep talk...

sfxmum · 21/08/2007 16:05

foxie - when are you going back? when I went dd was 1yr so I did not express just fed am/pm
about being the first someone has to i guess.

btw dd says well done when I am in the toilet

mellow am thinking of going to ealing maybe thu to meet dh for lunch. my friend moved meet up to friday, have not been there in ages
