QC, my pleasure!

Paddle, hope the mortgage situation turns for the better.

sfx, you trendy thing!

Wow, is this what you do for living, Mellow? What a fab shop! I normally go to Greenbaby in Richmond (well only when a sale is on, tho), now I know where to get organic stuff!

My DS's 'please' sounds like 'pweez' soooo cute!

Paddlechick666 · 18/07/2007 12:29

dd says peeze which is soo cute. she also says gak-ooo for thank you.

her speech has just rocketed in the last week or so. it's amazing.

well, i've tried a couple of other IFAs but worryingly they barely know anything about the OMHB scheme. once more, typical governmental poor implementation of what could be a very good scheme.

i'd quite like to go back to bed now peeze....

Kewcumber · 18/07/2007 12:44

so my DS is actually a genius for getting his "l" in "pl" then (we'll work on the "ease" bit later)

Paddlechick666 · 18/07/2007 12:48

ah yes, your ds is most definately a genius in the "pl" arena.

my dd and sushi's ds are at the top of their game in the "eeze" arena.

clearly we should all be on the Gifted & Talented threads!

StarryStarryNight · 18/07/2007 12:52

Hi, can I join in? I live in Putney, with my husband, and DS1 who is 5 and DS2 who is 2.

(You got me here, you better welcome me, COV! )

Sushimummy,

The shop, unfortunately, is something I do on the side. I actually consult on large-scale Web projects for a living.

Yeah, if there's anything you're interested let me know. You're welcome to come round to see the baby stuff before you buy.

And that goes for everyone else too.

starrystarrynight, welcome.

eleusis · 18/07/2007 12:58

Oh welcome welcome welcome. Lovely to see you. I have a 2 year old DS as well. Are you coming out to play with us at the next meet up?

Paddlechick666 · 18/07/2007 12:58

starrystarrynight, welcome.

eleusis · 18/07/2007 13:01

Congrats, Foxie. I did notice on Saturday that you were looking quite trim. Bitch.

I've just joined Amida in an attempt to shed some very unwanted fat. My problem is definately the number of hours I spend sitting at a desk.

rosmerta · 18/07/2007 13:04

Hi starrynight, I have a 17mo ds and am in Brentford.

Ahh, well done Gherkin! Ds doesn't look close to saying any recognisable words yet!

Btw, does anyone know of any reputable builders that could knock a wall down?

StarryStarryNight · 18/07/2007 13:09

Thanks for the welcome,
Paddlechick, a double introduction deserves no less than a double welcome, lol!

Eleusis, you do know, you've met me!

eleusis · 18/07/2007 13:12

I know, but I can't remember everyone's kids names from a drunken night out. I mean really! Some poeple expect so much.

eleusis · 18/07/2007 13:14

or rather ages.

faylisa · 18/07/2007 13:20

hi starrynight - welcome - I'm very new here too. I live in teddington and have a dd of 21 months and a dd of 5 weeks.

StarryStarryNight · 18/07/2007 13:22

No Eleusis, I did not think you would actually remember me, let alone my kids and their ages, as I did not remember yours!

eleusis · 18/07/2007 13:22

I am trying to remember which one you were...

StarryStarryNight · 18/07/2007 13:23

And that was a good night out.

butterbeer · 18/07/2007 13:23

Ooooh, StarryStarryNight, do I know you? I'm in Putney too with a DS who's 2 (well, 2.5) [Thinks: not sure if any of the 2-year-olds I know in Putney have 5-year-old brothers, so probably not].

We may be able to sway this lot over Putney-wards on a night out sooner or later, at this rate .

StarryStarryNight · 18/07/2007 13:24

and me you!

I was sitting next to Magnolia, oppsite CristinaTheAstonishin, end of the table! Blond!
