hi mellow, whenever dd got a new tooth it took about a week for her to adjust her latch and bf was a bit uncomfortable for that period.

altho she did occasionally nip me it was more just a gentle but persistant pressure which left some quite clear marks! after a few days she/we adjusted and everything went back to normal.

yes a cwtshi is a sling. i love it, had it custom made for summer but was too impatient to wait for a longer length fabrid - spend in haste, sell on ebay at leisure!

hi mellow / lemon dd only bit when she was about 14m i think i did similar to lemon but if she caught me unaware i would yelp and she found that funny, so the least reaction from you the better apart from firm 'no biting it hurts mummy'
i must say when she bf these i can see the teeth marks on my skin but it does not hurt.
she has sort of self weaning know and i have been working on the principle don't offer don't refuse.

I haven't thought about that but you're right, sfx. There's probably different times of the month where my boobs feel a bit tender.

Mellow - I ended up having to stop BF because it became too painful with the biting. Started expressing instead. Try telling her firmly to stop hurting mummy and see how you go.
