Hope to be able to bring my 4 DC to weymouth in the half term hols. Its about 1hr train ride from me and we have done it before!
Thought it might be nice to meet some MNers on the beach(or somewhere else). [nervous emoticon]

Ah, was going to say, if you were in town, I could pass our visitors your way. You're a bit far out.

yogimum · 23/05/2007 09:35

I would love to meet up in the half term. Will follow the thread to see what day is arranged.

Surfermum · 23/05/2007 09:39

Actually, I'm not sure if I can now, I'd forgotten it's bank hol on the Mon, so I'll be working a couple of days. Go ahead and choose a day without me and if we can come we will.

Marne · 23/05/2007 09:40

burstingbug · 23/05/2007 19:20

I like Weymouth a lot - especially Castle Cove!

Hope you have a lovely time but also

Imawurzel · 23/05/2007 19:29

Ooh, i can do this stuff next year when our lo is out of belly area.
Am 9weeks tomorrow.

yogimum · 23/05/2007 19:40

imawurzel congratulations. You will have to come to my baby yoga classes when I start them in Dorchester. If you want to do pregnancy yoga I can reccommend a great teacher. I met lots of mums there and all that breathing helps.

burstingbug · 23/05/2007 19:52

No reason why you can't come

tortoise · 23/05/2007 21:10

So meet up Wednesday then? Where do we meet? I don't know the area very well. Only how to get from train to beach! And sea life centre but thats quite a walk!
I will have my 4 with me and possibly a 3 wheeler buggy so should be spotted easily!!

tortoise · 23/05/2007 22:06

Imawurzel · 23/05/2007 22:09

Come out of the station, walk to the beach, the clock is jubilee clock,Kings statue is the bus stop where that bloke is on a big horse statue past the tourist info place.

tortoise · 23/05/2007 22:11

So its easy to spot then?
What time?

OP posts:
burstingbug · 23/05/2007 22:13

easy peasy
I'm working till 12.30, can get my mum to meet me with the kids at the statue for 12.45?

Imawurzel · 23/05/2007 22:13

I would say........ yes, easy to spot.

Have fun all.

burstingbug · 23/05/2007 22:14

Imawurzel · 23/05/2007 22:25

Maybe i should just book the afternoon off. don't get paid till Thursday though, and not sure if i'll have any cash to get the train, or have drinks etc. I will let you know though. ok.

burstingbug · 23/05/2007 22:26

tortoise · 23/05/2007 22:28

ok. That will be fine.
Not sure what to do about food for my lot. Might bring sandmiches for them. Will be cheaper than buying food out!
