ha ha! glad to see you got your priorities right by posting on here before preparing a healthy and nutricious supper for your menfolk!

hope he's scoffing dairylea lunchables and quaffing fruitshoots in front of something extremely violent and unsuitable for a child now.

quokka · 29/05/2007 17:37

he is covered from head to toe with yogurt as refuses to let me help him!

pudding77 · 29/05/2007 17:40

quokka, ds is going through this stage as well, refuses to eat anything unless he picks it up himself! Result being he gets covered in everything!

quokka · 29/05/2007 17:42

well he deffo needs a bath tonight

stepfordwife · 29/05/2007 18:16

hmmm quokka, another bad mother alert : when you realise it's 6.10 and no fodder in the offing...

and you're thinking"they did have a late, big lunch...do they REALLY need dinner.."

off to find some leftovers...

fab website, mellow.

2Cute · 29/05/2007 18:32

Stepford you're beginning to sound like my DH!!

We ended up at Hounslow Farm for the afternoon. DS had a blast as they had animal handling and an entertainer today. Luckily it only started to rain once we were back home.

Does anyone fancy doing something tomorrow like snakes and ladders/lollipop?

2Cute · 29/05/2007 18:37

website looks fab mellow! Well done to you both for finishing it!

xoxo · 29/05/2007 18:41

Mellow - great website I am too fat for your clothes but you really look fab in them. And I'm too mean to afford teh gorgeous beauty products but they will def come in handy for my friends birthdays. A lot of my friends re much more environmentally atuned than me and this would be perfect for them and their little uns.

Paddle : good to see you today. Gladder those tarantulas and scorpion stayed further away, despite kids crawling towards them comando style.

right, am now off to do the nightly bed fight... ho hum...

xoxo · 29/05/2007 18:44

2cute: DO NOT GO TO SNAKES AND LADDERS!!! My friend went on a half term before and almost decked two mums and several kids. And she's a pacifist!!!! avoid, avoid.

several libraries have extra story telling sessions this week; maight do the trick. and free is always a good price for me.

stepfordwife · 29/05/2007 19:36

2cute...you're so right. i think i'm actually a boy (in the guise of a GORGEOUS woman, of course)

and xoxo is even more right. do NOT go to snakes and ladders in half-term. in overcrowded conditins, under that tin roof, children become feral..almost as feral as the parents..

would love to meet up tomorrow, but still pox-ridden and confined to barracks. arragghhhhhhhhh

stepfordwife · 29/05/2007 19:37

mellow2 · 29/05/2007 22:04

Thanks everyone.

Yeah, I'm glad we've finished the site too, 2cute.

I'll be adding more products to the site in the coming weeks, especially for the autumn/winter season.

There will also be a natural body care range for autumn/winter especially for Christmas.

Morning everyone. Hope half term isn't driving you all crazy. We had a lovely day on Monday going to a friend's for lunch. We were meant to be taking our swimming stuff but the weather was just to foul. Yesterday we braved Bockett's farm. Today I have a quiet day doing the necessary chores, and tomorrow my parents arrive to take the children of my hands until Sunday . DS woke at 3am last night (although it was a brief interruption) and as such is still asleep

pudding77 · 30/05/2007 13:19

hi everyone, great news for me, I've been accepted onto the NCT antenatal training course & I start next month! I'm so excited.

How's everyone doing? Can't believe this crappy weather, thought it was going to brighten up again after yesterday.

ComeOVeneer · 30/05/2007 13:39

Congratulations puds. The weather is rotten isn't it. We have been inside all day today. Not to bad though as we have been out virtully all day Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues so children aren't climbing the walls. Anyway they are excited about going away tomorrow.

ktb2 · 30/05/2007 13:45

Hi all,
I'm new to this whole thing (motherhood, lack of sleep, online forums) so sorry to crash your thread but wondered if you West Londoners might give me some advice?

I'm looking for a baby-friendly doctor in the Askew Road area - we've just moved and I'm madly lying to my dr's surgery as I don't want to change dr's!

Also, are there any good baby massage/activity groups in this area? my dd is now 8 weeks old and having mastered leaving the house in under an hour I'd love to meet some other mums...

pudding77 · 30/05/2007 14:07

Hi ktb2 & welcome! I'm afraid I don't know Askew Rd but I'm sure somebody will.

I'm in Brentford and have a 16mo ds, and am a SAHM. We usually meet up one evening a month and also try to meet up during the day if you'd like to join us.

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 14:28

hi ktb2. Where's Askew rd?

You want to ask Foxie about baby groups as her DS2 is 11 weeks. You're welcome to join in with any meets to see here, the rest of this lot get very goo-y over little babies (soft lot) and can often be relied upon to hold them whilst yu're drinking you coffee etc.

My DS is 18 months and I live in Kew.

Please don't run away like te other newbies - we scare them all off !!

quokka · 30/05/2007 14:40

I know about a great baby massage group in chiswick - if your interested I'll give you the details

ComeOVeneer · 30/05/2007 14:58

How is the packing going Quokka?

ktb2 · 30/05/2007 15:12

thanks all - I'll try not to get scared off!

askew is between shep bush and chiswick, so would love the details of that baby massage group quokka.

I'll keep an eye out for your next daytime meet - very happy for everyone to go gooey over my dd (she does a good line in gummy grins and double chins at the minute)

quokka · 30/05/2007 15:20

ktb2 have a look here for stuff to do in W4 - if you scroll right down you'll find the number for Helen Langley Baby massage

packing, what packing I'm in denial !

Paddlechick666 · 30/05/2007 15:21

in denial! actually she's flown the maid over and she's doing it LOL!!
