did i hear handbags sale????!!!!! . i love handbags ; it's a passion.... when i worked earning more money and not paying childcare i would spend lots of money on bags and accessories. i would change my bag depending on what i would wear and since i HAD to have the matching purse and keyring, guess what i would spend my evenings doing?! dh made me count my bags pre move (as we had to downsize...) i had over 40 bags and a lot of matching accessories.... it was heart breaking to let some of them go . take photos tomorrow foxie

foxie...hmm, did get a cheque through today, but must work tomorrow i think. BUT my CM was sick today, so if she's still ill tomorrow, i'll come!
yep, ms spotty-features has scabbed over nicely.
paddle - dh is back on sat,and is on waiting to be back friday. even better! too right, i plan to go away for a weekend with indecent haste. on the "home run" now. my neighbours are coming over tomorrow nigt to "keep me company." now fretting it's actually to have a word with me about being s shouty mum....
wwell, the little buggers should LISTEN then, shouldn't they, eh? eh?

sue - bummer about mobile/purse. a few months ago read how most people lose their mobiles by dropping them down the loo from their back pockets. "Oh god, how STUPID," i sneered. guess what i did a few weeks later...

suejonez · 14/05/2007 16:20

my sister rarely carries a bag during the day and stuffs her bankcard in her back pocket. When she rang up for (another) replacement after losing it (again), they asked her for the details...

"issue number, madam"
"35"
"ha ha ha, no madam, the issue number is the number of cards you have been issued on that account number"
"35"

cue stunned silence, whispering to colleagues and distant roars of laughter

stepfordwife · 14/05/2007 16:26

..and hi samlou
am a relative newbie myself. have ds who's similat age to your dd - he's 8 in october, and ds2 who's 5 (and three-qaurters) and dd 2-going-on-25.
welcome!

sue....as for a name change.well having had a quick look at paddles' fab pics and you necking that bubbly..PinkLady.
if you have KewGardener, people will thinki yo0u're that shop in kew village and pester you for discounts on privet hedges and such like

Paddlechick666 · 14/05/2007 16:39

i don't know, you offer help after being asked and that's what you get!

pmsl at your sister tho.

i have literally "dumped" 2 mobiles that way and now put it in front pocket whilst in the loo, or better don't take it in there!

suejonez · 14/05/2007 16:40

is DS2 5 then, he seems big/mature for his age.

And PinkLady would imply that I know all the words to the Grease tunes... whereas I was really much more of a SandraD clone (with a hankering to be PinkLady)

Paddlechick666 · 14/05/2007 16:42

oh god! now you're over-thinking it!

suejonez · 14/05/2007 16:44

had a text from Oxo earlier, she's stuck in Lanzarote with the kids who've got chicken pox!

told her she's better off there than here seeing as how someone's decided it's autumn and not spring!

foxcub · 14/05/2007 18:59

...wish I was in Lanzarote

lemonaid · 14/05/2007 19:09

You could just be SandraDee?

foxcub · 14/05/2007 19:11

How about:

SuzieKew?
