At suejonez's
Friday 25th May
Fajita night

Everyone to bring whatever they want to drink (so feel free to bring a soft drink if you are driving)

Lets agree a list of what we need first before allocating out:

I'm going to try to make this easy and cut down on the cooking for all

lets assume 10 people

tortillas (3 each?)
cooked beef mince
cooked chicken
grated cheese
avocado for slicing?
guacamole
sour cream
salsa
fried onions
fried peppers
kidney beans in chili sauce (could be bought)
salad

Anything else?

Pudding

Could do a fruit salad perhaps and a devil's food cake then, will that satisfy all?

foxcub · 25/04/2007 14:27

eh - who might that be Sue? If they don't like cake are they really welcome anyway?

suejonez · 25/04/2007 14:28

I like a bit of fruit salad with my chocolate cake - its melts some of the calories.

Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 14:29

we could just do away with the fajitas if there's devilly cake coming!

or will be a question of no pudding if we don't eat our main?

Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 14:30

sue's right actually. it's a well known fact that chocolate eaten with fruit has no calorific content........

ComeOVeneer · 25/04/2007 14:31

Quite paddle, clean plate or no pudding .

foxcub · 25/04/2007 14:35

How about fruit salad and ICE CREAM, but just ditch the fruit?

ComeOVeneer · 25/04/2007 14:38

OOOHHH, devil's food cake AND Icecream . God I must stop this. I am on a bl**dy diet atm and I am getting positevely drooly as I type. (DID I mention I've lost 8lbs in the last week and a half ).

foxcub · 25/04/2007 14:40

CoV - what kind of diet are you on? I've dropped wheat and realised it was bloating me out a lot. Now am just eating "super foods" which includes dark chocolate

seriously I have lost weight unintentionally and determined to keep it up, so am interested in diets...

ComeOVeneer · 25/04/2007 14:44

Have to do school run now but will fill you in when I get back.

suejonez · 25/04/2007 14:46

no no no no diet discussion on here bugger off back to the general thread.

Pudding - COV (one chocolate and one.... any requests?)

suejonez · 25/04/2007 16:41

puds - there are a few veegies so beans would be best left separate - Eleusis hasn;t signed up yet and I think she's coming so let her get them

OP posts:
pudding77 · 25/04/2007 16:42

What about doing quorn mince as well/instead of?

MrsRecycle · 25/04/2007 16:43

She could always bring the wine (that'll get her on here!!)

suejonez · 25/04/2007 16:44

let the veggie answer - I was hoping that avocado and cheees would do the job (and in myhumble opinion taste better than quorn ). Foxie?

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 16:44

yeah don't contaminate that lovely beef with icky kidney beans!

maybe we could beef ('scuse the pun!) up the veggie side of things with some babycorn, mangetout, mushrooms etc.
for the veggies and healthy people?

suejonez · 25/04/2007 16:46

whats wrong with cheese, avocado, chili beans, fried onions and peppers and salad, serves them right for being veggie if thats not enough, bleedin' lentil weavers, they;ll have us all wearing slings next...

OP posts:
MrsRecycle · 25/04/2007 16:47
