New thread as the old one has run out of room.

quokka · 25/04/2007 19:06

i just left you a voicemail puds, boys are in bed if you wanna pop around?

suejonez · 25/04/2007 19:40

paddle - yes I wasn't thinking you would borrow more than you can afford to repay but that you can afford your rent so you must be able to afford a mortgage up to that monthly cost

Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 19:48

ah well sue, that's with contributions from dh which i don't necessarily think i can count on if things continue as they have been going.

need to do some figures....

puds, yes and yes

suejonez · 25/04/2007 19:49

can't you just tie a sling to the bicycle

foxcub · 25/04/2007 20:02

paddle - did you have your mediation with DH today? Did he turn up?

pudding77 · 25/04/2007 20:15

paddle, I've sent you an email about the bike seats

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 20:25

hi everyone...
just a quick post before i settle down to my increasingly larger glass of chilled white wine (only ever the one glass, though...)

and the apprentice is on - the only TV show (apart from dr who obviously) dh and i both like...he kids himself it feeds his business brains. i am under no illusions - it feeds my love of reality TV and bonkers people

paddle...i don't do PR, dahling..but would be glad to put a few calls in

sue... don't know LA personally, but hasn't she just got her job at the mag (if i'm thinking about the right one)

foxie..are you talking about the may evening meet-up? thought it was a small gathering for quokka's leaving do. didn't want to show myself up with "I wanna come! I wanna come!" especially as i've never even met the departing quokka. would love to come, but absolutely no probs if numbers limited.
er, if you weren't talking about that at all...

hi everyone else and have a good evening. toodlepip

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 20:26

foxie..how's ds2's manky tum? nice...

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 20:29

TV show? where did that pompous moment come from? programme..that's the word.

Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 20:33

pud, i've replied.

foxie, it was last week and he didn't show up

ComeOVeneer · 25/04/2007 20:41

Paddle actually I am Nigella don't you know .

foxcub · 25/04/2007 20:46

steppy - his little tum button is infected, so have anti bacterial cream from GP (the nice one, not the 12 year old doctor). Started a thread and Mears who is a midwifde said the cream should clear it up.

Noticed it was a bit odourish, hence the GP visit -

glad it wasn't my feet making that smell anyway...

foxcub · 25/04/2007 20:47

paddle - feuck him then the so and so......

suejonez · 25/04/2007 21:13

stepford - don't know her personally but its her who contacted me. Do you want to approach her and say you know me and can persuade me to do the article? Or should I say that to her? Or are you not interested? Email me suejonez at aol dot com and we can dicuss offline...

suejonez · 25/04/2007 21:14

Steppy its only a casual get together at my house as I was too skint to agree to restaurant meal out Will take as many people as want to come provided y'all know it will be cramped!

quokka · 25/04/2007 22:20

I don't mind you coming stepford, it should be a laugh and I'd love to meet you. I had my first mn meetup at sues and I'll have my last one there as well

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 22:49

quokka..would be lovely to meet you, too..
how long are you going to singapore for? do you know anyone out there?

sue..what a generous hostess..
so, count me in, i'd love to come..(no worries, i can do cramped) and deffo interested, i'll email you tomorrow..

foxie...yes, i remember one of the boys having a manky, whiffy belly button..can't remember which one, of course

quokka · 25/04/2007 22:54

SF don't know anyone yet but I'm from Perth which is a nice and easy 5 hr flight from s'pore .

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 22:54

hang on, quokka, what do you mean it "should" be a laugh...

stepfordwife · 25/04/2007 22:55

perfect, quokka. my in-laws are in perth. lovely city.

quokka · 26/04/2007 08:59

where abouts in perth are they, I grew up in Mt Lawley?

foxcub · 26/04/2007 09:42

Morning Grrrls

severe sleep deprivation here again with Sainsbury's bags beneath each eye. calls for some Greeen and Blacks me thinks.

Where is Ele?

Nanou - come on then - how did the interview go??

Paddle - am getting very cross with your DH. Pas me his balls so I can crush them

quokka · 26/04/2007 09:48

sounds like your in a ball crushing mood foxy, hope you catch up with some sleep later.

I'm so sick of de cluttering when is it going to end!

MrsRecycle · 26/04/2007 10:17

Never Quokka I seem to spend my whole doing it. I just shuffle stuff from one room to the next.

Foxie - have 2 matchsticks if you want, mind you I might need them. dh decided to go for a run at 5.30am this morning and woke me and ds up. So I've got a grumpy ds who doesn't want to sleep. I'll aim to get over to yours around 10.30/11am ish if that's okay? Does it fit in with ds2's feed - once he's done, I'll take him for a walk and you can catch up on some sleep.

MrsRecycle · 26/04/2007 10:19

pc - meant to say I was shocked to hear he didn't turn up for mediation. Hope you're bearing up.
