Brand new thread for a new month.

Yeah right at the bottom of it! She's never done well out of property (or men!). Thanks for all that info - maybe I'll invite her out for our next meet-up and she can chat to you. Glad you like the weight loss - my HV thought I'd lost weight but I've actually put it on. Sorry to hear about dhh - I thought things were going so well, lets hope mediation goes well.

foxcub · 17/04/2007 14:01

Paddle - the shared ownership thing works but need to weigh up costs of rent/morgage vs just mortgage. Also more complicated to sell, but does work for lots of people.

Don't forget to look at Ham as well - quite cheap and can walk along river to either Kingston or Richmond.

have just fed Monti so will be in kew about 2.30-4pm ish

everything always takes longer than you think with Lo's doesn't it?

quokka · 17/04/2007 14:02

anyone who wants to pop over to mine is welcome tomorrow. My boys normally sleep from 12:30 - 2:30 (Mellow might not be good for you to come then) and have mindee coming from 3pm so before that.

Have splitting headache, have viewings of the house and a photographer coming this arvo. Need some drugs for head

foxcub · 17/04/2007 14:03

shall we pop over late morning instead then Quoks? would that be better?

suejonez · 17/04/2007 14:05

can't beleive yours sleep for two hours - I wouldn;t know what to do with 2 hrs free in the day. I'm lucky if he goes for 1.5hrs, more often 1hr. Still 5 out of 7 nights he sleeps from 7.30 to 6.30 so can;t really complain.

Paddlechick666 · 17/04/2007 14:18

dd sleeping now but will prob wake her in about 20 mins and head for kew.

foxie, am really hoping my place sells thru the HA tbh as they only charge 1% comission. otherwise need to get it on the market before 1st June (thus negating need for a HIP) and wear the estate agent's comission.

mrsR, dhh was coming really good but he just doesn't seem capable of maintaining it.

quokka, did you dh tell you about my call re: rissoles? LOL!

technically i'm working tomorrow but haven't decided yet....... either way dd will be at CM.

pudding77 · 17/04/2007 14:19

I'll probably have to leave it tomorrow then quokka, as doubtful I'd be able to get over much before 3pm.

Paddlechick666 · 17/04/2007 14:19

sue, generally i nap for half an hour when dd does LOL! she'd go 1.5 - 2 hours if I let her but I think it makes for a much later bedtime if she has too long in the day.

sfxmum · 17/04/2007 14:27

so is everyone coming to kew today

dd is sleeping she has been adjusting her naps now that she is back sleeping through the night 9-7.30/8, yesterday was 6-6.45 today 1.30 and counting.

about HA we went that way, true can't always get the best mortgage deals but we just renegotiated and are about to vastly increase stake, maybe 100% will see, it is much easier after having a foot in.

paddle sorry about dhh, guess the in between good speels makes it all even more frustrating.

foxcub · 17/04/2007 14:32

right - am leaving the house now LOL!!!

sfx pop round to retail park if you like

sfxmum · 17/04/2007 14:34

i think social services will mind if i leave dd home alone

must do my online shopping, have spent ages on fansites wasting dd's precious nap time

pudding77 · 17/04/2007 15:08

ds is still asleep but am going to go wake him up in a minute, it's been 3hrs

Then I'm also heading to Kew lol

mellow2 · 17/04/2007 17:34

I've been trying to sort out our re-mortgage today. It looks like we'll probably be staying with A&L.

Quokka,
If dd has an early nap, then we'll be able to pop in about 11 am, otherwise we probably won't make it. I'll text you tomorrow to let you know.

MrsR - does your neighbour live in Ruislip Upon Siberia? forecast is for a sunny 20 degrees on Thurs/Fri

I thought it was hot today actually

MrsRecycle · 17/04/2007 18:47

Maybe she was making a suttle hint about the times I ignore her (mainly when I've had 2 hours sleep the night before). I do hope she's wrong as I'm really enjoying this weather. How are you foxie? We must get together once the kids are back at school (mine go back tomorrow).

quokka · 17/04/2007 19:11

I can do a big pesto pasta for the lo's to eat if people are coming for 11am?

Went to chiswick today to buy a big sticky cake - and forgot ! I came home with a photo album, shoes for ds2 (not needed), sausages (the one you like PC), shampoo and conditioner (which was far too expensive)!

Dh did not mention rissoles PC????

quokka · 17/04/2007 19:12

btw love ddh! pmsl

quokka · 17/04/2007 19:14

mrsr, we wil have to arrange a play date for the cat and your dd! Might give stitch to you right at the end if thats ok, not sure how ds's are going to take it

foxcub · 17/04/2007 19:14

Quokka that's really nice of you (pesto pasta)

we can make it late morning

MrsR - we should deffo get together. Mondays and Fridays DD is in nursery all day so either would be good days - mine go beck next Monday!!

MrsRecycle · 17/04/2007 19:25

Quokka - as late as possible is better for me as well. Tell ds's that we have a webcam and they can check on him over the internet.

Foxie - how about next Monday then? Or is that too early for you - I love the first day of school, I can catch up tidying up the house and getting it back to some normality. If not we can do Friday?

suejonez · 17/04/2007 19:39

not relevant to anyone but I am MN'ing and DS is singing/babbling away to himself and blowng the odd raspberry. I just love listening to him when he does that, would love to know whats going through his litle brain. One of the tiny joys of motherhood you just can't explain to anyone.

MrsRecycle · 17/04/2007 19:48

oh what a lovely memory sue - dd2 used to do that - it turns out she was singing.

just put ds to bed and he said Mum for the 1st time! Beats dd1 who said Dad 1st!

suejonez · 17/04/2007 20:04

only trouble is that 30 mins later little bugger is still singing and blowing raspberries! GO TO SLEEP BOY!

quokka · 17/04/2007 20:13

I just gone up for the 3rd time for ds1, how many poos can he do?

suejonez · 17/04/2007 20:14

is he going for a world record Quokka. Silence reigns chez JOnez but I'm not going to look just yet, just in case
