Had to create a new thread as we've already filled the old one!

2cute, I would love to meet up with you and your ds but I have my NCT coffee this afternoon and once ds has woken up from his nap, I have to go sort out my MIL's bday present.

Are you free next week at all?

Ahh, good job I cleared that up as that could have been some pretty nasty playdough !

Paddle - sounds like you had a good weekend apart from the sleeplessness!

Mornin' everyone.

Has anyone heard from Nanou1? I sent her an e-mail last week and never heard back...

quokka · 26/02/2007 10:17

ele I emailed her end of last week and she is ok, will try her again.

quokka · 26/02/2007 10:45

was going to call her but dh has taken my phone this morning, so don't have her number!

Paddlechick666 · 26/02/2007 10:56

i've got it - d'you want me to ring you with it?

quokka · 26/02/2007 10:57

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 11:29

Quokka - give nanou my love - I've e-mailed and texted her but no response

Hope she's OK

Paddle - glad you had a good weekend

Oxo - thanks for all the baby stuff!!!! It was good to catch up with you again.

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 11:33

How are you, fox? Any signs of labour?

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 11:39

Eleusis - nah, not really. Just feel very tired and uncomfortable and slightly nauseous.

EDD is Saturday and DS/DD came 2/3 days before their EDDs so I am expecting things to kick off on Wednesday or Thursday.....

Its so close now, I just want him out safely and in my arms now

ComeOVeneer · 26/02/2007 11:42

We should start a sweep stake, date/weight/length etc.

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 12:38
Grin
Eleusis · 26/02/2007 12:41

so foxie, is dh behaving himself now? has he got a new pager?

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 12:52

Eleusis - I bought DH a mobile phone for his birthday yesterday and he's been playing with it

Will try calling him later to test him

How are your DCs chicken spots - have they scabbed yet?

I haven't seen you properly for ages, apart from at Fat Boys the other day...

Oxo - forgot to ask you - when does your DS start reception? DD starts in September.

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 12:53

2cute/sue/paddle - R U interested in doing the Lollipop club tomorrow lunchtime then? I can get there for noon with DD

Paddlechick666 · 26/02/2007 12:54

foxie, just tell him to keep it on vibrate and in his front pocket - he'll love it!!

VPN is down at work, oooooh dear, shame!

Paddlechick666 · 26/02/2007 12:55

heading to kew tomorrow arvo ladies.

think might have to do a Tesco thing in the morning i'm afraid......

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 12:58

Yep, the pox have all scabbed over and she is going to school today. Poor thing didn't even get to miss a day of school because last week was half term. She'll have to plan her illnesses better when she gets older. No sign of a pox (or is it pock?) on DS yet. But, then incubation is a couple of weeks. So there is time yet. He is due for his measels jab tomorrow. I think he'll be okay. Poor guy, I'd hate to give him measels and chicken pox at the same time.

Well, I sit at work all day, so no day time meets for me. And last time I went to C and C DD and DS were very good at running in opposite directions so I don't fancy that place any time soon. But, I could be persuaded to do something else on a weekend? Shall we ponder a weekend meet sometime soon? Perhaps at QC to visit you and Monti? Do you think they'll let the mumsnet West London crowd in???

quokka · 26/02/2007 13:02

bummer I missed the pox???? Your ds might not get it as he's too young ele. If he does there might be a chance that he'll catch it again . Why didn't you have a pox party??????

If foxy has buba at the birthing centre she can have as many visitors as she likes and when ever she wants! There is no such thing as visiting hours there .

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 13:05

What do you mean he is too young? I have heard that if they get it before 12 months the immunity might not be lifelong -- but I've never had that verified by a professional. But, even if it is true, he is 21 months old. So,I think well into the clear for lifelong immunity.

quokka · 26/02/2007 13:07

he will never be too young to catch it but might not be immune forever. I thought it was older than 1yr, but I maybe wrong? I will ask mil as shes a nurse practitioner - almost a doctor

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 13:08

Oh, and it was talked about on here. DS may still break out with it and if he does, you are more than welcome to come expose your boys. Could probably even arrange a half way meet up in Twickers with the nanny.

DS was quite crabby over the weekend and had a bit of a fever Thurs and Fri so that could be the biginning... or it could be some other infectious disease.

quokka · 26/02/2007 13:10

I wasn't quite up to speed last week, too excited about s'pore and researching property.

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 13:14

So, is Singapore for sure now?

Speaking of which,I just learned in my quick varicella google that people in warmer climates don't always develop immuity because the virus is sensitive to the heat. So, perhaps you'll want them to catch here before you go? Yours are pretty young though, I don't know if I'd sign them up just yet.

quokka · 26/02/2007 13:19

nothing has been signed yet, but think the company is going to send us on a reccy so we can sort out accomodation before we move. We really don't want to get there and stay in a temp place and then move when we find somewhere permanent. I think they do it for familes so the move isn't too difficult

Eleusis · 26/02/2007 13:20

Cool, when are you off for the? And when do you actually move?
