Had to create a new thread as we've already filled the old one!

2cute, I would love to meet up with you and your ds but I have my NCT coffee this afternoon and once ds has woken up from his nap, I have to go sort out my MIL's bday present.

Are you free next week at all?

OP posts:
2Cute · 02/03/2007 21:35

Foxi...cooey, you still online??

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:42

Hiya 2cute - yep still here and still a mother of two, rather than three.

Am peckish and contemplating some onion bajis dipped in sauce

How are the arrangements for Sunday coming along?

Eleusis · 02/03/2007 21:43

Sorry, but I thin you have to keep walking. I believe it'e the weight of the head with the rocking motion.

Not that I would know...

2Cute · 02/03/2007 21:47

Come on Monti!! Did he hear me?

Things are coming along great for Sunday. I'm all organised (for a change). Will post back in 15 mins as DH has just walked through the door with take away...

Eleusis · 02/03/2007 21:50

Oh, how nice. My DH informed me that he had bought eggs, bacon, sausages and I was to cook it for him. So, I did and he ate alone. But, why did I do it? I disappoint myself sometimes.

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:54

Lucky you 2cute - what is it?

Ele - hmm want to try that but my legs are really achey and I have spd. I found shuffling round M&S today did help, but when I rest the contractions stop again.

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:55

Ele - 'cos you lurve him

Eleusis · 02/03/2007 22:02

Maybe you should go get a good night sleep then tomorrow try sitting upward rather than laying down. But, maybe not walking as that seems to be hard on your SPD.

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 22:04

Good idea, am going to my bed now...nighty night

Eleusis · 02/03/2007 22:21

night night... (I probab;y missed you). But, sounds like you might need the energy tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK!

You are almost there. Keep up the good work.

2Cute · 02/03/2007 22:22

Oh bum, have I just missed you both.

Take away from Pizza Hut so nothing glamorous!

Ele - Boy, you must love him! That's a good thing

Foxi - Sleep well and if it all starts happening, best of luck luvey! xx

Sue - Please don't fret about the present. My brother ordered it so that it arrives for his birthday so I'll give my brother the collection from this end. I am MORE than happy for you gals to chip in towards the hummer unless you're desperate to go run around like head-less chickens in toy shops 2morrow!!

Ele - Its really cool!! If you're thinking of getting one, bring the kids round one day and test drive DS's. Here's the pic: DS's dream

ComeOVeneer · 02/03/2007 22:25

Foxie you need a birthing ball.

ComeOVeneer · 02/03/2007 22:26

"cute I wiil add a contribution to the "hummer fund" if that is ok. Looking forward to Sunday.

2Cute · 02/03/2007 22:28

Puds - I can't do the 24th either.

2Cute · 02/03/2007 22:33

Ta CoV. Oh and it'd be great if you could bring those jigsaw mats with you

Eleusis · 02/03/2007 22:38

I made his dinner for the sake of peace, not love.

That hummer is way cool. Maybe for DS's third birthday (next may).

Where the heck in Nanou? She never e-mailed me back. I miss her.

ComeOVeneer · 02/03/2007 23:04

Is she ok? I didn't get what Quokka was saying a while back

ComeOVeneer · 02/03/2007 23:06

Will bring the mats (hope they are what you are looking for).

nopudstilleaster · 03/03/2007 08:36

Morning all, well if anyone's around on the 24th I'm requesting company

Has anyone's dcs had the vomiting bug? Just wondering if ds has it, he's thrown up about 4 times since last night and doesn't seem to be keeping anything down apart from water. Is there anything else I can do, guessing it's not worth taking him to the hospital?

Paddlechick666 · 03/03/2007 08:47

morning all

off to airport shortly.

puds, prob around 24th. dd hasn't had that bug since november thank goodness.

hopefully it'll pass quite quickly, just keep him on water in small but frequent amounts if he'll take it would be my advice.

if you're really worried call NHS direct but doubt it's a hospital case at this stage tbh.

if it goes on over a few days they recommend dioralite re-hydration sachets i believe.

hope he's on the mend soon.

foxabout2pop · 03/03/2007 09:03

Morning all - Puds I may be around on 24 March - well I will actually!!

Good advice Paddle re. the vomiting bug. Its going round DCs school, though they've escaped it so far.

That hummer looks amazing - I'd quite like one myself. 2cute - when it arrives you should arrange a demonstration so he can show it off to all the other DCs (and their mummies)

Had lots of contractions through the night, but slept very well. Bloody mucous again this morning but QC say that's OK, its just more show. MW has told me to go for a walk so I'll be taking the DCs to the playground here later this morning if anyone fancies joining us - weather looks crap but forecast for today is fantastic

...come on little Monti!

foxabout2pop · 03/03/2007 09:04

Cov/Ele - I hope Nanou is OK asnd miss her too I've texted and e-mailed her but no response

Paddlechick666 · 03/03/2007 09:09

foxie! are you still here woman! talk about making a production of it

get out for that walk but make sure dh is with you in case he needs to leg it for the car!

i rang nanou yesterday to see if she was coming on sunday but had to leave a voice-mail. had a text from her earlier in the week saying she'd be in touch when she'd got more time.

think she must just be very busy.

no word from friend since Thursday but am assuming she's still on track to land at 11am @ Stansted.

leaving shortly

sfxmum · 03/03/2007 09:13
