Hi - just moved into the area, have 3 yr old ds. As I work most days, not yet been able to attend mothers & kids groups - anyone know of activities around on Fridays or any MNer meets?

Is anyone still up for tomorrow? Sorry, I disappeared there for a while, owing to home computer being in bits on bedroom floor for several days while dh tinkered with it...

Rather down, went for ECV on Tues, only to be told that i should have been referred there at least 2 weeks previously, ie at week 36, because the scan showed that baby is big and has very little fluid around her, so there's no way they'll be able to turn her now. I actually had a scan at 36 weeks which showed that fluid was low and she was getting pretty big, why oh why did nobody refer me on the spot? Do they get bonuses for doing C-sections?? So I am now booked in to have a C-section next Wed. Very disappointed.

I'm really sorry to hear that Bigmerlin. I think (but don't quote me) that tomorrow has sort of fizzled out but I'm still keen to try and get a meet-up off the ground (we only need to be brave once ).

Post again once you're up to getting out and about - I can come and coo at your new arrival!

Hi Bigmerlin - sorry to hear about that, what a shame. All the best for Weds anyway, so when we do finally all get to meet up you'll be with babe rather than bump then! Tomorrow did rather fizzle out as SN said - shame but let's do something in Sept when people are freer.

Hi - still here & happy to meet some time last 2 weeks in August. SN -sorry to see you over our collective failure to get it together enough to actually meet and thanks for the bumping! Just indulged in some retail therapy in central windsor - far too many nice shops here.

I'd be up for meeting everyone too. Still working full time at the mo though, but have lots of time off scheduled before my maternity leave. Let me know when and where and I'll confirm yeah or nay.

how old are you all that are meeting up in windsor? i would come too if some are around my agre range lol, windsor isnt far from me i can get there easily.. and where abouts in windsor?
