Hi - just moved into the area, have 3 yr old ds. As I work most days, not yet been able to attend mothers & kids groups - anyone know of activities around on Fridays or any MNer meets?

sounds good to me! Yes I am here, but don't come on MN that often so I'm one of the contributors to the Bermuda triangle scenario I'm afraid.

Sorry about the Bermuda Triangle comment, there's been a couple of threads about this area and people have posted enthusiastically about a meet-up and then never posted on Mumsnet again! I can't do July 16 as we're away but can do any other Friday onwards.

Hi there, I probably could do 23rd - though got old friend coming to stay for a few days (she has no kids so can send her off shopping, I'm sure she'd be delighted with all the sales on anyway!). 11am all right for everyone else

Hi All - just thought I'd post to say that I also live in Windsor. Can't do the meet up as I am currently working full time, but finish in October to have baby.

Good days out in the area, for kids too are: Odds Farm Park, Legoland (obviously), Picnics in the great park when it's warm enough. There's also Playzone at Windsor Leisure Centre, and Phoenix Gym along the Maidenhead Road. They are all fab, and my DD loves them all!!

Anyway, I'd love to meet up with other mums in the area so if any further meetings are arranged, please bear me in mind, and I'll try to come along.

Sorry, trying to finish a report before going on Mat leave today [hurray!]. Yes, I can do 23rd July at the moment, unless any appointment appears before then. Trying all sorts to turn breech baby at the moment.

Hi all - looking forward to the meet on the 23rd then. Congratulations on starting your maternity leave, Bigmerlin - hope you enjoy it! My ds was also breech, btw, and was successfully turned round v. quickly in the local hospital at 36 weeks, he stayed that way for a further 5 (thank God!)

not sure I can make next Fri, unfortunately, as feel bad leaving friend alone when she comes to stay- haven't seen her for a long time. why don't we meet up when most people can definitely make it? we're all busy I guess, so probably best to postpone till after the summer, commit to a date then we can all come along?? how about a friday in Sept? What do you think out there in that Bermuda triangle?
