Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

oh 2cute, poor you. If you need any help today then just give me a shout as we've not got anything planned.

quokka · 15/02/2007 10:15

and sympathies of course!

MrsBigD · 15/02/2007 10:27

2cute sympathies! I do my back in on a semi-regular basis when ds is playing up and I'm trying to lift/restrain him.

at foxies comment... you deviant you!

We had a lovely Valentine's evening, well after cleaning up after ds's nappy that he deigned fit to be distributed all over the living room. God knows how he did it but there was that silicate stuff EVERYWHERE.

DH had sent me roses and cooked dinner! Then we settled down in front of TV watching some trash sci-fi movie and devouring a chocolate dipping feast from House of Chocolate ... back on diet now LOL

2Cute · 15/02/2007 10:31

Aww thanks pud . I'll give you a bell if I get really stuck but be warned the house is a tip.

CoV - OMG poor DD and poor you! They do say that once you damage your back it never FULLY recovers, great

Foxi - you dirty little minx!

2Cute · 15/02/2007 10:36

sounds lovely BigD... (meaning, the roses and dinner etc not DS's mess!)

sfxmum · 15/02/2007 10:37

2cute you poor thing, hope foxie has not traumatized you images from her depraved 70's life

foxie enjoy last day at work, think that is mostly achieved by ignoring any proper work

mrsD that sounds good, dh got home quite stressed kept muttering evil threats to his co workers under his breath and this seemed to carry on while he slept, i thibk he needs a day off

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 10:46

OK everyone, how do I get pink marker of the arm of our new sofa????

MrsBigD · 15/02/2007 10:58

depends on sofa material

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 11:08

Well I used several stain products for felt tip pen then scrubbed with hot soapy water. Will see what it looks like when it is dry. DH isn't going to be happy, the sofa is only 3 weeks old.

suejonez · 15/02/2007 11:08

Colour the rest of it in pink?

I don't think Foxie is in her 70's is she?

Paddle - getting along well with the DM then - offer to come over for a coffee after bedtime is still on. Oh and if we ever do sleep overs, I have a spare room so you can have a bed and DD can have the travel cot.

suejonez · 15/02/2007 11:09

just thnk of it mauring cov like a good cheese

suejonez · 15/02/2007 11:09

oops "maturing"

suejonez · 15/02/2007 11:10

and it;s why I bought leather (though for the cats not at the time children) yes it scratches but doesn;t look bad just weathered

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 11:15

I know what youmean about cats, our 2 have wrecked the sides of the ones in the living room by clawing them and I have just noticed they have had a go at the new one too. They also like attacking the carpet on the stairs, but will they use the 2 scratch posts we bought them???

suejonez · 15/02/2007 11:20

cats laugh in the face of scratching posts.

They do claw my stairs but not my (leather) sofas

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 11:24

I've tried that spray which is supposed to deter them but it doesn't work. I am tempted to get a water spray bottle and spritz them when they do it, but the problem is it is mostly at night.

foxabout2pop · 15/02/2007 11:57

COV - I find babywipes the best stain removers in the entire whole big universe!

Sue - Yes actually I am in my 70's - trying to beat the world IVF record for oldest Mum

Paddlechick666 · 15/02/2007 11:59

morning all - just!

sue, thanks for offer, may well take you up on it too. at least i've got next week off so no DM for a week! and the week after she's only doing 1 day/night YAY!

i'm such an ungrateful cow really.....

Foxie, you can't beat that record coz you didn't use IVF!

did you?

Paddlechick666 · 15/02/2007 12:02

ps: 2cute, nightmare about your back, hope you're feeling better. your valentines day was still more romantic than mine tho LOL.

CoV, no experience to offer other than to perhaps let DC colour in rest of sofa?

Foxie, bet you're lookin foxy in that mini! enjoy your last day and i hope they treat you to something lovely.

quokka, got room in your singapore bound suitcase for a pommie with wanderlust and a small but very sweet little girl?
