Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

how am I supposed to keep up with your lot whilst I'm busy unpacking!

MrsR good to her lo is better

Mellow, cracks appear in any relationship we got close to a chasm but it's good now again . Important things: make time for each other and TALK to each other.

Argh my 2 are at each other's throat... again....

At least running up and down the stairs countless times a day will at least shape my legs a bit

2Cute · 14/02/2007 15:15

MrsR - Excellent news on your DS Really pleased for you!

Valentines day - commercial, commercial, commercial...Nah, I'm not cynical, or not at all Washing the dishes & take away from Nandos is about as romantic as my DH can get regardless of whether it's my birthday, mothers day or whatever. On the up side DS made me a lovely card at nursery

Quokka - Congrats

2Cute · 14/02/2007 15:17

How's it going BigD? Still sane???

suejonez · 14/02/2007 16:00

OOh ooh ooh goody goody, deadline got pushed back a week so although still working Wednesday and Friday, would be unstressed enough to come out to play other days.

Do have someone coming over to see D at some point but not sure when, will go find the brocket farm thread. How exciting - D has never been to a farm before - how his horizons are expanding!

ComeOVeneer · 14/02/2007 16:03

OH does that mean you can come on Thursday Sue? If so I will have a dig around at the weekend and see what old clothes of ds 's I can find for D. I need to get ds new stuff again as he has grown more. Was supposed to go to Kingston today but ended up having an indoor day and have baked heart shaped cookies with vile pink icing with dd (will send them to dh's office tomorrow after children have had a couple).

suejonez · 14/02/2007 16:06

So is Brocketts farm a Thursday then? What time - was just trying to find the thread. Yes probably will come though haven't tried driving that far with him in the car yet...

quokka · 14/02/2007 16:09

We might come but I have no idea where the thread is?

pudding77 · 14/02/2007 16:43

Brocketts Farm

MrsBigD · 14/02/2007 16:59

what's sanity?

sfxmum · 14/02/2007 17:43

one advantage of this valentines business is that there seems to be a wider choice of delicious puddings about

mrsR that is really good news with LO are you ok with carrying on the bf?

mellow nothing ever remains the same nothing wrong with a rocky patch just keep talking and don't forget to be kind to each other, in our 11yrs we have had plenty of those too.

quokka that sounds exciting!

mrsD moving is stressful give it time drink somerant here

foxabout2pop · 14/02/2007 17:58

Sue - ooh you can come out to play next week - fab!!

MrsR - good news about your DS

mellow2 · 14/02/2007 21:08

It's reassuring to hear that we're not the only ones with rocky patches but it's been particularly difficult since dd came along.

We're sat in front of the telly now watching footie and drinking champagne. We're not having much of a conversation. But the champagne's good.

sfxmum · 14/02/2007 21:20

dd asleep a little earlier today

mellow i think it is inevitable that children put a strain in a relationship no matter how strong, children come and it takes time to redefine roles re establish some sort of new balance and it does not go back to they way it was. also often having to deal with with the memories and traumas of ones own childhood can be a surprise to say the least, add to that little mix sleepless nights, money worries...
well that is my take on it anyway i hope you manage to make it work

Paddlechick666 · 14/02/2007 22:06

arrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

sfxmum · 14/02/2007 22:43

night night dh and dd asleep i am up to watch desperate housewifes then probably collapse on the sofa

sfxmum · 15/02/2007 08:53

morning all

off to kew again later but avoiding C&C just plenty of walking around i think

pudding77 · 15/02/2007 09:04

morning all, another restless night from ds, teething & yet another cough & cold!

Think I might stay in this morning & then head to story time at the library later on.

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 09:11

Morning all. Well I never did make it to the shops yesterday so it is trudging around Kingston for me today

2Cute · 15/02/2007 10:05

Morning all. Well, guess what I've gone and done to myself?! While scooping DS up yesterday, I've got a slipped disc. Excruciating is an understatement. DH had a deadline so had to go to work now after lifting me out of bed and plonking me on the downstairs sofa. My parents are on holiday so poor DS is stuck with a mummy that can barely move . Atleast DH put the laptop right next to me so I've got something to do but DS'll be bored out of his head today.

Anyways on valentine's night I was wearing the scent of deep heat not perfume and a big thick girdle type thing not lingerie...very sexy I tell ya!

Sulk sulk, ouch ouch

foxabout2pop · 15/02/2007 10:13

2cute - you poor thing. Your physical condition sounds even worse than mine atm

Deep Heat rather than "Deep Throat" eh?

sfx totally agree with what you say about relationships - specially the wierd flash backs to childhood you suddenly start getting when you become a parent - oh and lack of energy and cash as well of course!!

Paddle - you must be knackered. Have you heard anything from DH about this weekend? (sorry to mention it)

My last day at work today - am wearing Paddles denim mini skirt as I want them to remember me as a sex godess

ComeOVeneer · 15/02/2007 10:13

Oh 2cute, huge sympathies. I damaged my back falling down the stairs whilst carry dd when she was 6 months old (I dropped her and she bounced head first of the radiator, but thankfully was fine). Since then I periodically throw it out again and am in agony. The thing I have found that works for me is accupunture.

quokka · 15/02/2007 10:14

lol at deep throat!
