Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

foxabout2pop · 12/02/2007 15:36

Oxo : "had I not been surrounded by tofu eating, guardian reading hippies who would faint at the sight of me administering the clip across the ear dd so richly deserved".

ROFL!!

Glad you found your daughter again!!

ps please pass on thanks to your DH for rebooking our table on Saturday night so they could accomodate us all!

xoxo · 12/02/2007 15:40

will do Foxy,
dh has been star. I've been in hospital/ bed all weekend and he's been doing teh kiddie stuff/ roast dinner and everything.

now if I can only introduce him to a mop, he'd be almost the perfect man, or half a woman.

he did mumble that was my valentines day treat though [hmmm]

foxabout2pop · 12/02/2007 15:41

too many mmm's in your

Half a woman eh?

suejonez · 12/02/2007 15:42

so who is going to be my valentine?

Could one of you arrange for a good-looking tall dark single friend (male please) to appear round my house with a bunch of flowers, a takeaway from the Ivy and a packet of condoms. Though he needs to be gone by 10.30 as I'm off to sleep by then...

Paddlechick666 · 12/02/2007 15:43

oxo, yeah i am? what of it? LOL!

actually today's tasks so far:

2 work emails
1 work phone call
1 Balanced Score Card Review (satisfies any creative tendancies I had today!)
2 more work emails
2 loads of laundry
1 beef and veggie casserole in the cooker
lots of personal emails
spamming of friends/family with my Just Giving site
several cups of coffee and a ham & cheese pitta
and a spectacular row with some bloody dipstick who has NO concept of how Public/Private Keys and Digital Signatures work!

must shower soon, god the day goes quick when the LO is a CM!

can't believe no one reminded me Lost started last night!

grrr

OP posts:
suejonez · 12/02/2007 15:47

you can have him after I'm finished Paddle

Now have frittered away most of D's naptime on MN instead of doing the washing or my new financial model for the board presentation.

foxabout2pop · 12/02/2007 15:52

Is there a spare man going round?

...did I read that wrong or can I order one from Fat Boys?

suejonez · 12/02/2007 15:53

Don't want one from Fat Boys want one from Tall Muscular Boys (anyone have the phone number?)

sfxmum · 12/02/2007 15:56

pudding77 · 12/02/2007 16:19

oxo, thanks for the email. I'll give her a call!

Poor ds isn't himself today, think he's teething but he's got a bit of a temperature & is v cuddly which is unlike him. He's also not trying to bash the laptop whilst I'm typing so he really can't be feeling well!

Barbados? Very common if you ask me

Jessvh · 12/02/2007 16:29

Hi Guys, Im new to West Ealing and am 5 1/2 months pregnant with my first baby. Ive just relocated from Huddersfield, so am keen to meet other mums to be in the area - anyone in the ealing area?

sfxmum · 12/02/2007 16:32

hi welcome jessvh, i think our west ealing person just left but everyone else is not far

puds&paddle i did indeed pity them and their jet setting ways

uwila · 12/02/2007 16:36

Barbados? Common as mushy peas.

Welcome Jssvh!

eleusis · 12/02/2007 16:36

Oh damn!

Welcome!

foxabout2pop · 12/02/2007 16:37

Hi jessvh and welcome. I'm PG with my 3rd (due in 2/3 weeks) and in Richmond, but work in Ealing W5.

Why don't you come alomng to one of our evening or daytime meet ups?

mellow2 · 12/02/2007 16:39

Welcome Jess!

What does eleusis mean?

ComeOVeneer · 12/02/2007 16:47

Welcome Jess. What is with the name change Uwila? I have sneaked into the study for 5 minutes to use the computer as our wireless connection is down so can't use the laptop. It is the first day of half term here, and it has rained almost constantly. DS refused to have a nap and both the kids are driving me mad. I was talking on Saturday night about wanting a third but now...

eleusis · 12/02/2007 16:49

eleusis

sfxmum · 12/02/2007 16:51

did any of you go to lollipop today? was it too busy? i thought half term was next week otherwise lollipop & C&C are hell and i need to find other stuff to do

eleusis · 12/02/2007 16:51

Got bored with Uwila. So I thought I'd pick another name everyone would mispronouce.

eleusis · 12/02/2007 16:52

Different boroughs have diffferent half terms. COV is technically Surrey, so that's different from Richmond LEA. Half term is next week in Twickers.
