Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

sfx/sue - you won't be out with us tomorrow.

Sue -glad work went OK - I just use sudacreme for nappy rash.

SPD is symphosis pubis - no not musical pubes, but pthe two pelvic bones which make up your pubic bines, grating against each other when you walk. Its excruciating but should go when DS2 pops out.

Paddle - it tends to recur but many of the women on my ante natal thread have said its often better in subsequent pregnancies, just because they know how to manage it 2nd time round. Whereas 1st time, they often do things which aggravate the pain.

suejonez · 09/02/2007 22:05

don;t be shy cov - come over and visit me some time soon before I go back to work. Are you ever over at the Kew retail park? Could meet you then.

Thanks for the ideas - I'll see how he is tonight - if he is still waking up crying I'll try the vasoline treatment. Not sure I've got the nerve to coat the boy in egg white (whipped a la meringue or unwhipped?!), he might apply to his social worker for a transfer...

sfxmum · 09/02/2007 22:40

R U coming to the book swap next Sat?

Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 15:34

foxie, that would've been great. shame

we went to the park where dd managed to cover herself in dog shit that some inconsiderate ct had allowed their animal to do in the playground ffs.

sorry but people like that deserve to be shot IMO.

'spect so to the book swap altho haven't read anything i was supposed to

am sort of enjoying the latest john irving at the mo, it's a bit weird tho!

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 15:36

ps: dd had to come home trouser and boot-less.

also, was hoping dh and i would be away next weekend but at the mo am seriously considering removing wedding ring and leaving it at that.

paddle

sfxmum · 10/02/2007 16:14

oh paddle i am so sorry you are feeling like that, it must be so hard being the only one pulling the boat

uwila · 10/02/2007 16:39

Hey, does anyone fancy a daytime meet up with kids next Saturday? DD has asked me to invite some kids over to play. So I thought I'd open the invitation to the West London crowd.

Let's discuss more tonight.

ComeOVeneer · 10/02/2007 16:59

Can't do next Saturday as we are back into N London for some friends' childrens birthday party then late lunch with IL's.

Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 17:11

uwila, it's book club day next saturday - are you trying to subvert everyone? lol

bite the bullet mate and come along

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 17:18

thanks sfx and pud. the emotional rollercoaster is getting to be too much.

last weekend was fabulous and this weekend he's let me down, i haven't heard from him since thursday (to whinge about his own poor fortune yet again) and i have no idea where he is.

but i'll bet you he's watching rugby and/or football in a pub.......

OP posts:
suejonez · 10/02/2007 17:20

Paddle had a very boring afetrnoon being polite to my sisters AIL to thank her for buying D Gap bear (which he is completely uninterested in. WOuld have much prefered to meet you.

I have someone coming over in the afetrnoon but will be around in the morning if you want to meet.

suejonez · 10/02/2007 17:21

that should have been "sisters MIL"!

Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 17:26

hi sue

dd actually let me watch the rugby - even watched a bit herself. i thought wales' defence was fabulous but still a disappointing result huh.

prob going to do the tesco thing tomorrow morning - forgot it was going to be closed this arvo - but thanks for offer.

dd's early nap/early lunch doesn't leave much time in the mornings......

lol @ ds's lack of interest in the toy - typical huh!

OP posts:
suejonez · 10/02/2007 17:27

which Tesco do you go to? We could coordinate and meet for a shop and a coffee?

suejonez · 10/02/2007 17:28

to be fair on D - I don;t know many 1 yr olds who are particularly interested in smart desinger bears in smooth cotton. If it doesn't either whirr and play tunes or alternatively is fluffy he isn't interetsed.

Paddlechick666 · 10/02/2007 17:34

mogden lane, opens at 10am and there is a cafe so that could be good

dd shows distinct lack of interest in pretty much anything when she is first given it.

takes her a while to warm to things even if they are annoyingly noisy lol

am hoping she has an early night tonight - both naps today were remarkably short and she seems pretty cranky this evening.

think teeth may be a factor too as she's a bit warm but no temp.

she's going thru an annoying stage of making a huge drama of any slight knock. especially on her hands - i'm even getting paranoid that she's broken something without my knowing it.

an ex of mine broke his leg as a toddler and it took several days to identify as he only cried when he used it a certain way. his mother was a nurse LOL.

am now periodically prodding her hands, fingers, wrists etc to see if can "provoke" any reaction.

none so far .........

OP posts:
suejonez · 10/02/2007 17:40

Thats the one nr Twikcers right not the one up near osterley?

Do you plan to be there at 10am? I could just about do that and get D back for a latish nap...
