Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

Sorry Sue. I don't drive so I can't come to M&S this morning.

suejonez · 08/02/2007 10:01

Really must update my website, everyone is nagging me about it. Must go.

Paddlechick666 · 08/02/2007 10:04

ah well, you're fast tracking. luckily you've completed bypassed knitting your own lentils.........

personally i applaud your parenting style, welcome to my world!

as for conferencing at Kew - yeah the reception is diabolical.

plus, i don't think my work colleagues would appreciate me going ga-ga over D instead of concentrating on a secure build for a new SQL server.......

PC,

You'll have to tell me more about creative storage and verboten when we meet.

uwila · 08/02/2007 10:06

Sue, when / where can I transfer some 12 month boy clothes to you?

I can come by one day after work, but I think that might conflict with Daniel's bedtime.

uwila · 08/02/2007 10:08

Oh F, now I'm typing other people's children's names!

Sorry, report my post if you want.

sfxmum · 08/02/2007 10:16

sue are you still going for coffee? think will need incentive to pop out

lemonaid · 08/02/2007 10:23

Sue, are you still going to M&S? I could probably make it for a coffee (I've dealt with all the immediate work crises and could take a break while waiting for the next lot to brew up). But don't want to schlep over there if I'll be all alone...

(BTW is it the Kew Retail Village one?)

pudding77 · 08/02/2007 10:33

Hi all, it's just started snowing here now, am hoping it all clears up by Saturday otherwise I'm stuck in Wakefield for a bit longer!

I have caught up but can't remember half the stuff that's been said

foxabout2pop · 08/02/2007 11:11

Am of you all meeting for coffee.

Don't forget I stop work on 15 Feb, so I expect lots of invites to coffee mornings, group hugs etc !!

Mellow - sorry to hear about you not moving. As someone who lives to pay her mortgage I sympathise with the feeling of being trapped by west London prices We're fantasising about moving to the west Country, which is full of people from Kew/Chiswick/Richmond apparently now

BTW is your DD sleeping in a baby hammock? Sounds intriguing - tell me more!!

Paddle - You've given me so much stuff already I am feeling very guilty. You deffo have first call on all of DD's MiniBoden, when I get round to crawling around in the loft to locate the correct bags!

Is it a BF cushion? I have one already but it has a hole and all the beady bits keep escaping! Can you just imagine sitting in Starbucks trying to look cool, then looking down and seeing a pile of beady bits under my chair - almost as embarassing as when I was sitting in there once, surrounded by yummy mummies and DS went to the loo. 5 minutes later, loo door opens and DS bellows out: "Mummy, I've done a poo - come and wipe my bum!!!"

lemonaid · 08/02/2007 11:17

Not sure we are (meeting for coffee), tbh, as Sue's not answering texts and it's all COLD and WET out there so I don't want to go out if no one else is there. Sue's DS is probably napping by now anyway (he normally naps around 11, I think).

(And yes, I know by Sue's standards it's probably positively tropical and not at all cold or wet)

suejonez · 08/02/2007 11:18

D has just gone to sleep will sleep until about 12ish - would still be up for a coffee after that.

If anyone is interested call me at home 8392 2117 (I know I know perverts etc but don;t care...) Alternatively come and visit then it doesn;t matter what time it is... having coffee at my sisters but much later this afternoon.

Uwila - you're welcome after work - bathtime is at 7pm but anytime before that would be fine. What time do you normally leave.

suejonez · 08/02/2007 11:19

Yes he is asleep but you're welcome to come here for a coffee and can meet him when he wakes up.

suejonez · 08/02/2007 11:20

can't find the old mobile to charge it...

suejonez · 08/02/2007 11:23

OK have emailed my address to Lemon and SFX - in case they want to come for a coffee (and help with my washing, cleaning etc). Anyone else?

foxabout2pop · 08/02/2007 11:26

Sue - hope some pervs give you a call !! [hopeful emoticon]

foxabout2pop · 08/02/2007 11:26

Sue - did you read my joke e-mail yet, the award winning complaint letter???

suejonez · 08/02/2007 11:29

Sorry Foxie - I have the attention span of a gnat at the moment (its not the pregnancy hormones ladies, its motehrhood - I am living proof). Yes I rad t and laughed am working out a response on those lines...

Had a prerecorded answer phone messgae from BT this morning saying they'd fixed it, but it was recorded by Tom Baker (AKA Dr who for us oldies) and sounded like one of those spoof messages!

sfxmum · 08/02/2007 12:20

sue one day i will be in sync
been out for short snowy walk with dd lunch now then hope she sleeps, looks pretty tired poor thing

Paddlechick666 · 08/02/2007 15:02

Babies in Malaysia sleep in hammocks, minus the mattress, as it's cooling up till they're about 3 or 4 years old. I think the bouncing and the enclosed space emulates the womb and help babies with sleep and colic problems.

This hammock is pretty stable because the sling is quite low. With the hammocks in Malaysia, the sling on the hammock is lowered for older babies so they won't hurt themselves if they fall. It's quite difficult to get out from a contraption like this anyway.
