I'm moving to St. Leonards in Exeter, and have a 13 month old baby.
Would love to hear from anyone in the area to find out about baby groups or meeting up for a coffee...

all the best,

x

3.20 @ haldon rd??

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 08/02/2007 14:38

its a date!

franca70 · 08/02/2007 14:40

!!!!!!!!!

franca70 · 08/02/2007 15:51

I waited from 3.20 til 3.24, then my apprehensiveness (to be late at picking up ds) got the best of me and made my way to dinham rd. I think I saw you coming when I was turning in dinham rd and waived!!! don't know if you saw me... I then dragged ds all the way back but you were gone...

franca70 · 08/02/2007 15:52

tis true that I was wearing a different hat and jacket, as my usual ones were soaking wet...

fennel · 08/02/2007 16:55

I came past at 3.40, can't time myself very exactly, but if I'd seen the last couple of posts would have made an effort for 3.20! it's getting to be a bit of a challenge.

fennel · 08/02/2007 16:55

franca - perhaps "duly"?

franca70 · 08/02/2007 17:06

duly, that's it. thanks fennel (franca wonders why her english isn't getting any better after 7years...)
It is challenging, and I'm so sorry I missed Ilost today.
shall we try again tomorrow? would you be around fennel?

franca70 · 08/02/2007 17:07

we could even synchronize our wathces [grin}

fennel · 08/02/2007 17:09

I don't go to work on Fridays, and will have to do my own school run at those times. maybe Monday...

though my timing is variable as it depends on if I'm doing morning and/or afternoon school run or neither, etc.

franca70 · 08/02/2007 17:26

we'll see how it goes on monday then

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 08/02/2007 17:39

oh blast. i knew it was all going to go tits up today. i stopped on way to get bouquet of flowers for my mum then i was late grrrrr.
right def will be there for 3.20 tomorrow promise.

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 08/02/2007 17:44

alternatively we could actually arrange to meet up properly say at dinkys??? controversial i know...

Greensleeves · 08/02/2007 17:48

I reckon "dutifully" rather than "duly"

franca70 · 08/02/2007 17:50

ok tomorrow 3.20 and I'll wait until 3.25

franca70 · 08/02/2007 17:55

dutifully, that's it.
ok, wait, my vocabulary gives me both duly and dutifully, and they seem to have more or less the same meaning in Italian...
English is difficult!

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 08/02/2007 18:03

your english is a damn sight better than my italian- ie i cant say anything at all- tho dh reckons he can say 'i have nothing to declare'- very useful i dont think!

franca70 · 08/02/2007 18:13

you haven't heard me speaking yet
lol at your husband...

fennel · 08/02/2007 19:40

"Duly" - properly, fitly, at the proper time.

"Dutifully" - obliged by one's feeling of duty.

Franca, were you wearing your hat fitly at the proper time, or from a sense of obligation?

franca70 · 08/02/2007 19:41

both I suppose fennel

Greensleeves · 08/02/2007 19:41

Oh, come on, don't be a bad loser

franca70 · 08/02/2007 19:42

lol at the sense of obligation

franca70 · 08/02/2007 19:42
