Pc,

I can't wait to see your her hair do/colour.

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 09:21

morning

well, dd had a dreadful coughing night but actually didn't wake herselp up too much so she got about 12 hours sleep!

i also had a dreadful coughing night and couldn't get back to sleep!

flippin typical but at least dd is a bit brighter today. tixylix nightime will come in handy tonight.

i shall unveil my new colour on Saturday! i like it more today but actually i think it's only subtly darker so you may not notice much difference!

hope everyone else had a good night!

harktheheraldfoxessing · 30/11/2006 16:53

wow its so quite on here today..

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 17:21

i know!

been busy having a nervous breakdown to British Gas Homecare.

they have taken nearly 2 weeks to get a contractor into my south east london flat to fix a leak. despite my tenents waiting in 4 times for them to not show up!

the flat below has had it's ceiling come down because of it.

finally when i screamed, swore and cried on the phone this arvo the builder has rung me!

why is this country to HARD to live in!

hgow are ya anyway foxie? those cubs being good?

pudding77 · 30/11/2006 17:31

I've been trying to sort out stuff for our move in between ds's very erratic naps. He's just all over the place at the minute. I think he may be trying to drop his am nap but can't quite manage it so goes down late & throws the rest of the day out. So with all that, not had much chance for MN . And after the move, we're going to be without internet for a couple of days !

Anyway, sorry for the long bit there. How's everyone else? Paddle, is dd any better?

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 17:36

hi pud

moving nightmares! let me know if I can do anything to help altho not really sure what!

would love to have ds for a few hours but dd is off to the model agency this tues coming and i'm working the rest of the week.

dd is certainly on the mend, spreading fromage frais all around as we speak. we both have the cough but grandma's gone home now so she's got her room back at least!

sfxmum · 30/11/2006 17:41

pud sympathy on the naps, dd has long dropped a nap and lately sleeps at aroun 1.30 to 3, but a couple of occasions has dropped it altogether, which means stroppy dinner and not very good sleep.
today she was super charged running around no nap despite lots of encouragement cue major strop and fell asleep on the sofa at 4.50

PC - that is shocking service complain and send them the bills

hello everyone

harktheheraldfoxessing · 30/11/2006 18:10

Hi - what day are you moving Puds? R U moving round the corner.

PC - oooh the model agency. Let me know how it goes won't you. I'd like to send my handsome DS, but I kind of got the impression that Mums of models have to spend all their time driving their proteges round, so I'd be interested to hear it from the horses mouth.

Spooky that you mentioned BG Homecare as I was looking at my bank statement today and resenting how much I pay them for the homecare, considering I've only called them out once in 2.5 years

I agree they are nigh impossible to get hold off

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 18:12

they've given me a 1 month premium refund - all of £33 !

but i will pass that on to the tenants as they have been so accomodating. not much but it'll cover a chinese takeaway and a bottle of plonk.

dd slept over 2 hours this arvo, but she was in her puffa jacket in the buggy snuggle in the hall so artificial conditions lOL. very pink hot girl when i woke her......

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 18:27

i am soooo switching to some other supplier after this fiasco with BG!

i think you are probably right about the whole "parent taxi/chaperone" for castings etc so very much doubt dd will be the next SuperBabyModel. but we'll see!

i shall keep you informed.

harktheheraldfoxessing · 30/11/2006 18:31

Pc they refunded us last year, after I waited in all day for one of their plonks who never turned up in the end .

You must have the supa cover. We had that for 12 months, the I switched to just boiler cover, and guess what's ahppened now - we have a problem with our guttering. aarrgghh

We have Scottish Power supply us, but BG do the boiler service. Wow I'm boring aren't I ?LOL

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 18:35

i do have the "all singing all dancing all bloody never show up and send the wrong effing engineer who can't fix it cover" yes!

i should hold out for more compo as it's been 3 missed visits and 2 duplicate visits but i've lost the will to live.

course you're not boring, well not to me anyway, i'm fascinated by this conversation.

must go, dd is drinking the honey..........

pudding77 · 30/11/2006 18:42

We're moving on Tuesday next week and yep, we're moving to just around the corner from where we are now!

Thanks for the thought anyway Paddle but I doubt ds would have been too happy at being left. He's going through separation anxiety at the minute and although he's his normal self if we try to leave him at MIL or something he really doesn't like it. He got all upset at MrsB's the other day when I just left the room to put the cups in the kitchen!!

And I'm finding the whole homecare stuff interesting as we've got it as part of our house insurance so at least I've got fair warning of what's likely to happen should I ever need to call them!

harktheheraldfoxessing · 30/11/2006 18:53

apparently British Gas receive more complaints than any other Co in the UK

Paddlechick666 · 30/11/2006 20:10

you don't surprise me, most of them are from me!

poor wee laddie Pud, he'll come thru it tho. dd is quite happy to toddle off with all and sundry these days!

pudding77 · 01/12/2006 08:33

Hi Paddle, we're hoping he will! My mum's coming down on Sunday to help so hopefully once he's used to her again she'll be able to take him out for a few hours while we move. If not, then it'll have to be me and nothing will end up where I want it .

Right, off to see what I need to get for the cake...

Paddlechick666 · 01/12/2006 09:15

we moved when dd was about 4 months and still bf like a maniac.

i had an army of workers who simply came to me for instruction whilst i sat and fed dd.

it was brill!

sfxmum · 01/12/2006 12:02

so mrsB official thread starter you, are we having a shiny new december one?

MrsBojangles · 01/12/2006 12:18
